We have rented a 1bdrm villa at VWL, me, DH, and 2DD are going to stay. My DN is wanting to make the trip to florida with us and then meet up with his uncle, but, uncle can not pick him up until 2 days into the trip. If I show up with 3 kids, are they going to say, no way, sorry charlie. I don't know what to tell the boy. Help. Thanks, Dena

Could you upgrade to a 2 bedroom, and ask the uncle to pay for the price difference?

Is your reservation through Disney or are you renting points through a DVC owner?

The rules are actually different. If going through Disney the capacity is 4 people. If going through DVC, when we rented points in 2006, 5 people were allowed in the one bedroom. I haven't kept updated to know if that is still the case.

If you are on a points reservation, Member Services will allow a fifth person, but you need to contact the member who made the reservation for you.

If you made a reservation through CRO, you will not be allowed to add the fifth person.

If you are on a points reservation and the member adds the fifth person for you, you will not be able to get a cot or rollaway. You will still only get four bath towels, two hand towels and four face cloths. You will have to provide whatever your fifth person needs in the villa.

We have rented points from a DVC owner. So, if my nephew decides to go, i just need to call him and ask him to add my nephew. Thanks, Dena
