O'hans hours changed?

I have a 5:20 ADR and I just checked to find a 3:45 time available. I booked close to 5 to avoided being seated super late. Oh the dilemma!! I feel like 3:45 is just way too early to eat dinner.

I hear ya on the too early part. Only way we are okay with it is because we are doing it on our arrival date and so we will be hungry by the time we get there anyways. Gives us more time in the parks that night as well.

Best of luck on whether or not you decide to change your ressie or hang on to your current one. :-)

We are planning on going there for the first time ever in October. I was planning on trying to get an ADR for about 5:00pm. Am I understanding the vibe that they are always running late? Do I need to book earlier to try to be seated by 5? Any guestimation on how far they may be behind at 5?

I'll be interested in the responses too.

We haven't eaten at 'Ohana since 2000 (even though we've stayed at the Poly many times since then). We thought we'd give it a try again this year and have a 5:35pm ADR. I wonder if I should change it......there is a 5:15pm currently available.......

Been checking every day but still the "latest" I can find of the early times is 3:55!!

That's not too bad. Personally I would snag the 3:55pm one then. That's only 25 mins after opening...can't be too busy at that point. At least I would hope not. Haha.

If you're wanting the 3:30 still you could always try to call versus checking online.

'Ohana does have a reputation of running behind. I have eaten here twice. First, as a solo diner, in 2014, reservation was for 915pm, was seated about an hour behind that. LATE dinner, but worth it!

Next time was 2015, and we had 5pm reservations with the 5pm opening. We were seated right when the restaurant opened.

Aaahhh! There is now a 4:10 but that's still not good enough for me. I'll only exchange my 5:20 ADR for something like 4:45. :P

Out of curiousity does anyone know if they food stays as good and fresh until the very end of the night. We were thinking of booking a late ADR at Ohana.

I booked a 3:50. By the time it's over Trader Sam's will be open. Then the MK is open until midnight. That's the way to go I'd think... get the food and beverages out of the way before going to the park...

I've eaten at 'Ohana 3 times - 9:30 PM, 9:50 PM, and 5:15 PM. The first two were in August and March (spring break), while the last was in January. I've never been seated late. Although I will say I had much, much, much better service at the later meals. Many of the families with little kids were gone by then and there were fewer and fewer people in the restaurant as the meal went on (I'm guessing they "close" at 10). Plus, we had a window table with a view of Wishes both times. It was way crazier when we had that 5:15 meal. We waited almost 45 minutes for meat. We wanted to tell our waitress that we hadn't gotten any meat, but she had disappeared too!
