I'm considering trying the Ohana character breakfast for the first time. I was wondering what characters are normally there? Also, what are your opinions on this character breakfast? Did you enjoy it? Did you hate it?

Thank you.

We do this one every trip - especially if my mom's along, cause it's her favorite character meal :rotfl:

The food is good, but it's just standard breakfast stuff - eggs, potatoes, breads, bacon and sausage, fresh fruit, etc. Not a whole lot of variety, but it's plentiful. They do have an excellent fruit juice blend.

The characters are Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, Pluto. Service is usually quite friendly, and the atmosphere is to me more relaxed than some other character breakfasts. They do periodic parades with the kids, around the restaurant. And, since your food is brought to the table rather than sitting on a buffet line, there's no worrying about missing characters or whatever.

I was there in November and we loved it...we stayed at The poly and did breakfast and dinner at O'Hana's and both were excellent.

The breakfast is family style and the food is plentiful...the characters are Lilo and Stitch, Mickey and Pluto. I highly recommend O'hana's and is the only repeat restaurant on our list of ADR's for this coming August!

We love this one. This is the one dd still talks about b/c Stitch tried to drink my coffee and she thought it was hillarious:rotfl:
There is Mickey, Pluto, Lilo and Stitch!:rotfl: They do a dance around the room, all fun!

We had lots of fun at this one, especially when the characters take the kids for a dance around the restaurant. We're planning a brunch there following our vow renewal in June. We wanted somewhere fun and casual, but still nice.

This a breakfast we always do the food is good and Stitch is a hoot. He came by our table and took my hat. I have the scroll pin that says I only hope that we don't lose sight of one thing - that it was all started by a mouse. He got mad and in his way he told us IT WAS STARTED BY STITCH NOT MICKEY.:rotfl: He walked off with my hat and brought it back 5 or 10 mins later. It was still on his ear where he put it.DW and I and our friend will be there for breakfast on May 20,08 :dance3:

This is always a must do for us! It's one of the only places that we have repeatedly gone to each trip and it's never disappointed. The character interaction has always been great and we were really happy with our servers. :) Plus, I love the food!

O'hana is by far our favorite.....I think being served your meal is better when it comes to character dinning. We love the restaurant and the Poly. The food we had was fresh and hot. It is basically just standard breakie food plus beautiful fresh fruit and the amazing pineapple coconut bread.

Just thinking about it now I think I will add it in to our next trip. We were going to try something different this time but maybe not.......

Food is fine. The character interraction is terrific. Stitch is a riot. Unfortunately, we had very poor service. Our waitress was MIA most of the time and we had to flag down other waitstaff to get our food and beverages. The meal took 1 1/2 hrs., most of the time being spent waiting. It took 20 min. just to get beverages. :sad2: I'm not trying to scare anyone off. Hopefully, the waitress we had has been relieved of her duties. It's a fun meal, otherwise.

We did this breakfast in 2006 and 2007. We all enjoyed it. Stitch is a hoot. Very good interaction. The food is wonderful and both times we had great service. Enjoy!!!

Oh good! I decided I wanted a character breakfast for our last morning and this was the only one available. I booked it and came here for the info... of course there is a thread. I'm excited that the experiences are positive and even more excited that it isn't a buffet :)

Only thing is, DS has no idea who Lilo and Stitch are. Guess I need to rent the movie lol

Ohana is great and I make sure that I'm there at LEAST once a month. Stitch is our favorite! The wallpaper on my cell phone is a pic of DF that Stitch took!! (He also tried to steal my cc once... :lmao: ) The juice is the best on property!
