'Ohana?

Is it possible to get an 'Ohana ressie only 2 weeks out? Has anyone ever done that before? My wife and I are trying to go for our anniversary, but this seems fruitless.

The only way you'll know is if you try? Have you gone online to check? Someone on the October cancellation thread saw a late dinner ADR open for October 1, so it may happen. Good luck

I've been checking online a few times a week in the evening (no time during the day at work). Just minutes ago, I just got an Ohana reservation for Oct 5 at 6:40. If there's only 2 of you, you probably have a better chance. Crossing my fingers for you!

Yes. You have to be diligent and check the canceled threads here on the boards and keep checking the online system. The best times I've found are in the evenings or weekends when people are able to cancel their ADRs.

Make sure to subscribe to the cancelled thread for the month you are going. I get the updates for the cancelled Sept ADRs and I've seen several Ohana's on there.

And, like everyone said, keep checking online...lots!

Then there's always checking with your hotel when you get there to see if they can call and see if there are any openings and worst case try to walk-up? I have no experience with this though

Believe it or not we leave in 2 weeks and on Thursday I got a table for 6 at 7:20 pm . CRAZY I know and I cancelled a CM for it so someone got a 6:40 for 6 people

Definitely possible! I just helped a friend book ohana for her trip 1 week away and we came across it 3 times in 2 days. She chose the time suitable for her, but just know that they do pop up! I checked a few times a ay!

I would also check every date of your trip..seems like I've found more openings on like Sundays and Tuesdays.

It's possible! I got 'Ohanas 2 weeks before our trip at 5 pm for a party of 8. It was fabulous by the way!

I tried for a month before one of our trips - no luck. When we were checking into our resort, I mentioned it to Guest Services. They checked on the computer for us, and we were able to choose from 3 different days/times.

I'm a little less than two weeks out and have desperately been trying to get Ohana for 3 on Oct 9. If I can't get a dinner ressie, what are my chances of getting in as a walk up?

I've been trying for over a month now to get an 'Ohana ressie for 5 to no avail...I even tried to call the ADR phone line and was a no go on there too. I'll check every stinkin' day once I get there and swap it out last minute if I have to. LOL

Oh, and for whatever reason my notification to the October ADR cancellation thread isn't actually emailing me anymore. I've missed out on a couple that I would have contacted people about because I haven't been getting any notifications!

I had been trying for the psdt three weeks for an 'ohanas and got lucky tonight for a 'ohanas reservation. Keep trying.

And my October thread stopped notifying me as well.

Yep, just keep checking the Reservation site and the October cancellation thread. We are going next week and I just got a reservation for 4 at 7:40am for Oct. 10, our DD's birthday. Breakfast at O'Hana's was one of her favorite experiences when we took her back when she was 5.
