Ohana?

DD15 and I have ADR for dinner at Ohana. I thought it sounded like a fun atmosphere, but after reading several reviews, now I'm thinking it might be too childish for DD15. I'd really appreciate some opinions. Thanks!

My husband and I normally go by ourselves and we are 34 and 35 and thoroughly enjoy it. I say go and have a good time

Though the games are geared to littler kids, the food is very good, and the atmosphere is more family friendly than childlike if that makes sense. Even if we didn't have kids, DH and I would go there.

I've seen some awfully grown up folks Hula Hooping at dinner!!! It's a really fun, family atmosphere at 'Ohana- I think your teen will still like it.

Well, I can see where a 15 year old may not like it if they are in that stage that anything kidlike is dumb, but if they are generally ok with most disney type stuff, they should be fine. They don't have to play the games or even pay attention to them really. You can also ask to be seated away from the main game playing area if that helps. The food is really good and as previous posters have said, many adults go there without kids and have a great time. We did!

My 15 year old loves Ohana! DH and I love Ohana! Even when my kids are grown and gone I will still go to Ohana's.

The kids don't have to do any of the games and it doesn't take away from the meal or the foods itself. There are plenty of adults only here!

I say go for it. This is one of my favorite places to eat!

Our last time at Ohana DS was 14 and all he was interested in was the food. We don't go there anymore because we feel very rushed through the meal. We go to KONA now and love it.
