We're staying at the Polynesian and I've heard great things about the character breakfast at O'hana. That being said, I think my daughter will be scared of Lilo and Stitch and only be interested in Mickey.
On the other hand, I've hear mixed reviews about Tusker House and all food in AK. However, she LOVES Daisy and not sure we'll get to see much of her elsewhere.
Should I rearrange my plans and skip O'hana and switch to Tusker House all for Daisy??
I also have a res at Crystal Palace. Maybe I should cancel that so I can go to the other two choices. Any thoughts???

Welcome to the DIS fist of all!!!!

Now for your question, I think it depends on how into Daisy your daughter is... We enjoy Tusker house, and O'hana. What park are you planning on doing that day?

Thats a tough question. We always do both. Mine are HUGE lilo & stitch fans, so thats why we go there, but the food is just OK. Tusker house food is GREAt in our opinion, I cant think of one food one might eat for breakfast that isn't on that buffet. If mine were not such huge Lilo and Stitch fans, I would choose Tusker house any day.

Thank you so much! I read that the character interaction is a bit rushed at tusker so wasn't sure it would be worth it. We're staying at the poly. What time do u think I should make te res for- I guess the bus is the only way to get there.

I can't comment on breakfast at O'Hana as we have only been there for dinner, but we have been to Tusker House for breakfast 3 times and we love it. We have always enjoyed the food. Definitely a favourite in our family.:goodvibes

Tusker House has all kinds of foods on buffet and does have Daisy most day's. O' Hana's is served family style and is a set menu type of food with Stitch and friends. Both good food. but we prefer Tusker House:dance3:

Both are our favorites. I would have to agree that TH is rushed. The food was good but I enjoyed O'Hana more. DH said he would choose TH.

We just got back from WDW (yesterday) and ate at both!! Here is our thoughts.

Tusker House: The food at Tusker House is AWESOME - we liked it way better than O'Hana. It is buffet and has so many options that we really enjoyed. You get a picture (extra $) with Donald but can't he doesn't sign. You do see Daisy, Goofy, and Mickey inside the restaurant and they sign and do pics at your table. The restaurant is very open and loud and the character interaction was just average.

O'Hana: Food was okay. The food is served family style - so it is nice that you don't have to go up to a buffet. You get waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, fruit, and bread - so average food. Character interaction was okay - but the restaurant was much quieter based on arrangement of the room. You also get a picture (extra $), but just in front of the O'Hana sign. Our DS doesn't know who Lilo and Stitch are - so that didn't help our cause. But Mickey was also there.

My husband and I talked about it today and if we had to do it over again we both said we wouldn't do O'Hana, but would consider Tusker House!

I wouldn't cancel CP- you can look at my avatar and see why- lol!
I agree with others that the atmosphere is better at 'Ohana, but the food was better at Tusker House. If Daisy is the big draw, I would do TH & CP. And go to 'Ohana for dinner where the food is awesome!

Enjoy your stay at the Poly! We loved it there, and the food choices were a big part if the attraction for us.

Tusker was a great character encounter. Food was good but nothing special, I preferred 1900 park fare, food was head and shoulders above Tusker and at least twice the selection (which is to say two boat loads ;) )

I just made a video of our Tusker breakfast from last year. It's my first attempt at one, but it will give you an idea. I forgot to include Donald, lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28a-tpSwG44

We haven't done ohanas, so I can't compare to it.

I agree with this. Food is way way better at Tusker House than Ohana. While i do love Ohana, i have to say Tusker is better. They have by far the best selection ive seen yet. Plus if your kid loves daisy, i'd go with Tusker.

Super cute video.... I did 'Ohana breakfast 5 years ago and it was good. We are going in November and my son doesn't know Lilo & Stitch so we are going to try Tusker House since he know who those characters are.
