ohana questions please help

we will be staying at ASMo and will be meeting up with a family (they are staying offsite) and would like to know if this is a good choice for dinner. there will be 5 adults and 7 kids (age range 14 down to 6).

can they accomodate such a large group - will we be able to sit together? what would be the best way for us to meet - where exactly is ohana located. what is the best way for us to get there from ASMo. we will have our own car.

any other information on ohana will be appreciated. thank you all very much for your answers and opinions.

'Ohana is located on the second floor of the main building at the Polynesian Resort.

If you have a car, drive.

They will be able to seat your party together. Make sure you have a PS so that they are expecting you.

This is a great restaurant for kids and for groups. Have fun!

When we went recently, we were staying at the AKL, had our own vehicle, but didn't want to drive. We took the bus to MK and the boat to the Poly.(we could have taken either boat or monorail, the kids chose to take the ferry). It worked fine for us. The kids will have fun, encourage them to participate in the hula-hoop contest and the coconut races! Just in case they are picky eaters, be aware you can order them typical kids meal items without a problem. Have fun!

Getting there with Disney transportation may be easy. Getting back may not. If you are returning to your hotel after the monorail/boats stop running (i.e. if the parks close early), you will have to bus to either TTC or Downtown and transfer to AS bus. No matter what ,you will have to transfer at some point unless you drive or take a taxi (from AS). Getting there from a park will be a breeze, just take the direct Poly transportation.
Have never eaten at Ohana, so can't help there.
