My dd's are really picky. They like plan food and not much variety. I booked an ADR for Ohana because we have never eaten there before. I thought it would be fun and some thing different. After dd, 13 read the menu on allears she said, "I don't like any of it!"

Okay, now what? Do you think I should find another place?

Day one - Crystal Palace (MVMCP) (MK)
Day two - WCC (epcot)
Day three -CM breakfast (AK)
Day four - PT (MGM)
Day five - Ohana possibly (any where we want)

Any suggestions:santa:

The menu at 'Ohana isn't weird or exotic at all - and there's so much to pick from I can't imagine somenot truly not having something to eat. She doesn't eat chicken wings, ordinary steak, turkey breast?? I can see some people may not like shrimp, or perhaps sausage - but the rest of the stuff is pretty ordinary & very tasty. The salad is also excellent, and the potatoes were good enough I'd be happy with just a plate of those <g>!

At age 13, the kid is old enough to be sent to Captain Cook's for a burger or chicken strips while the rest of you enjoy a nice meal....just a thought ;-)

Thanks for the suggestions. But, dd will not be going on her own to eat some where else. Family dinner on the DDP. If I can order her a plain chicken breast or plain steak it will be okay. I just wanted to try some where new while on the DDP since I will already have it paid for!

:santa:

They offer different food for kids if you ask. We were just there in May. Our server offered DD(4) chicken fingers and french fries. Just ask your server and I'm sure he/she will accomodate you. Even though your DD is considered an adult on the plan, I'm sure they will not mind. Good luck!

You must go to Ohana just to experience the bread pudding and sauce. Oh my goodnesss........just the BEST!!!

My nephew has alergies and couldn't eat most of what was offered. They gave him mac and cheese, fries and chicken fingers.....

just ask....

Have a great trip!

Thanks, I will ask. I think it will be a nice place to try. I am at the point that I don't care if my kids eat or not. I hate it that they are picky. I try to get them to eat different things, they just won't. I am going to go where I want to, and if they can't find anything then that is there problem. It's not like I am not offering them food. So, with that said, I am going to O'hana's and I am going to enjoy myself. :woohoo:

DW and DDs are very picky eaters--we're talking real meat & potatoes people here. They really enjoy it. I am an adventure eater and I love it too. I'd sure give it a shot. :earsboy:

My son is rather picky too. That being said, if your daughter gets there, she might be sucked in by the atmosphere. Ohana has a terrific party atmosphere that draws everyone in! Buy her a non-alcoholic fufu drink (virgin pina colada) and I think it will go a long way! You might have to pay OOP, but I think it will be worth it!!!

The turkey and steak and pork on the skewers are pretty plain, no weird sauces. The wontons are kind of like potato chips in a weird sort of no potato way :rotfl2: . Even if she doesn't eat every course, I'll bet she finds something she likes!

Oh, one last thought too. She is 13. I remember 13. At that age, you LIVE to spite your mom!!! ;) Just go and have a good time and try not to sweat it!

You could always threaten to take her to the kids club at the Poly if she doesn't want to eat with everyone! :rolleyes1

Good luck!!!
