Ohana- is it worth it?

Yes I think it is worth it to do it at least once. We have eaten there 3 times, our last time the food wasn’t as good .
We are going back again I already have the reservation 😂. I’m not going to let one time keep me from going back. One other thing I did not like was I felt like they were rushing us. They just kept bringing food when we were not done with what we were already given.

Yes, it's worth the money at least once. It's in our rotation and we eat there every other trip or so.
Everything is OK... It gets high marks because of the Hawaiian theme, the view of the castle and fireworks.
It's basically an "Asian style" Brazilian Steakhouse.
The best thing on the menu is the bread pudding. IOO
Yes always leave room for the bread pudding😂!

The thing with this restaurant is, if they are on their A game, then they are really good. But if the cooks and the service is off, then it ruins it. And that seems to be their problem, they can't stay consistently good. IDK if it is lack of training or high turnover. But they need to keep the standards up.

I've eaten there twice. The first time six years ago was AMAZING. The second time three years ago, meh. I'll probably try it again this fall if we end up at the Poly just based on the first experience (and the location). Also, I have teenagers and tweens now, so I'm hoping they'll be a little more adventurous with their choices than they were as wee ones.

We almost cancelled it on our 12/18 trip.. decided to still try it. (We also kept Hollywood & Vine too!)
It is the ONLY restaurant my husband requested to go to again for our trip in May. I didnt understand why everyone complained. We requested the meat a certain temp. We didnt let them rush us with the food. And we thought everything was yummy.. the dessert was RIDICULOUS!!! I wanted to never stop eating it!!!

We have historically done this every trip until now. We felt rushed and our server was not overly friendly. She slung drinks our way and was not very kind. And the coconut races didn’t even run and we tried to wait to for them. (Side note I miss the lady that sang and worked there a few years ago...she was the sweetest woman). I think my bill was about 170 with my AP discount maybe and some drinks...for that I’d rather go to California Grill. Just my 2 cents.
