I am so bummed...I'm going down on May 9th to the 16th and, as my son lives in Orlando, we thought we'd be able to go to Ohana's one night for dinner...not! He works in a resturant so I never know when he is available. Has anyone waited till the last minute to try for ressies hoping for cancellations? I plan on spending the next 2 weeks calling and hoping.

I've heard that they sometime are able to seat walk ins at opening time. You could try that - especially if your son works there - he'd probably be able to find out if walk ins would be a possiblity based on the ressies

Same. We tried to get it for the 15-17 and nothing is open. The dining plan was released for us until yesterday so I didn't have much of a window. We're doing Tutto instead so hopefully it's good!

I was able to book a ressie in late May last year while we were there for the next night, so it's not impossible. We did get a late ressie but were there for the fireworks so that's what we wanted.

There's been alot of people post that they've gotten lucky showing up just before 'Ohana opens. I know we are eating there May 12th and even calling at the exact 90 day mark we couldn't get in until 8:50pm. Later another friend decided to join us and we couldn't get a bigger table size, so I booked a table for two at 7:30pm, plan on arriving early and asking if they can sit us all together at the original table. It'd just be adding one person really, since I'm also being counted as part of the original party.

It's not 'Ohana, but I also have an ADR for Rose & Crown on Wed May 13th at 7:30pm that I'm going to be canceling. It's for two people, if you might be interested in that instead? It's a perfect time to ask for an outside table for Illuminations. I'll wait a few days before I cancel it. I'm dining with some friends at Le Cellier that night instead.:cool1: PM me if you want it.

We just upgraded to the Poly on Wednesday night and I was able to get a 5:20PM ressie for 'Ohana on Friday 15 for 2 people, so don't give up. I have been trying to get a later one on a different day, but no luck and everything seems to be booked. You never know though, a CM told me most people tend to switch/cancel around two weeks and less before their trip. Good luck!
