Oh Yeah, V's At It Again! A May 2007 Pre-Trip Report

Did your hair change at all after having Leo? Mine was dead straight before the DD's it wouldn't curl for anything, now it has a mind of it's own, really wavy, I've got straighteners but rarely use them as it takes to long and I'd prefer more time in bed! Good move I think to not get it cut especially when it was pointed out about not getting it wet, you can't go down summit plummit with dry hair you know :lmao:

It's beginning to feel like summer here - high near 90 and mass amounts of humidity.
Okay, enough of my hair-ramblings. Time to get some more writing done on this baby.

Oh, and I should work, too.

90's?????? Its still pretty cold and rainy here! Try 50's.
Yes, we are looking forward to the next installment!

Hey, are you talking about your hair or mine?

I am caught up again.
pre trip part 5 dining roulette 2 thumbs up for all the genius hard core ADR planning, it made me want to throw money on the table and place a bet.
I think if I had to plan and constantly make changes my mind would bleed. you handled that like a trooper.

Today was a much better hair day! But now I'm back to wanting to take another inch off before we go. That whole Carole brady flip thing is driving me nuts...

Guess it'll just be another surprise element of the TR! :rotfl:

HA. Nah, work can wait! :thumbsup2 But....I do look at it this way: work/school etc is what we do inbetween Disney trips!
:thumbsup2
I think we have the same hair. I won't cut mine for the same, exact reasoning. My sister has a CHI and I love, love it. I make her straighten my hair when she comes over, which isn't often enough. I need to look into the generic one! Thanks for the tip. :)
My pleasure! I really, really love my GVP kinda-CHI!

:rotfl2: Won't you be surprised if I really do go down Summit Plummit after all?!
Nope, my hair stayed the same. Trust me, I was hoping for something drastic!

In progress, I'm happy to say!

Heh. heh... so you're feeling my pain, then? ;)

Thank you! But, seriously, I never want to do that again!
don't cha just love that southern humidity!!!:lmao:
Oh yeah, can't get enough! :scared:

I love your style! I don't think you should cut it. That is going to be a lot of work. And clips can get it out of your face, but not up off you neck. That to me is where I need the air!

your hair looks great but i will say this. for myself, i don't like the flip thingy. somehow it just bothers me... i like it a little shorter- speaking for myself of course...

I had the Carol Brady flip at my first haircut after we had moved across the country. I dislike it on myself, but it does look really cute on you. I totally understand why you'd want more off, but I'm sticking with my "wait" vote, merely because of the time involved. :)

V, very cute!!!I like it this length on you, but I can see the flip being a little annoying. I myself like a little flip every now and then, but my hair is much longer. Are you going to keep the same style just shorter??or totally new style??
I too am voting with wait to cut. If hair takes me 30-45min in Disney than that is just too long for my kiddos to go without saying 100 million times--"are we going yet","what about now, can we go" and DS1 "go, go, mommie"..Mommie will have a nervous breakdown!!!

You are a beauty! You look so bubbly! I bet you are a bunch o fun to be around!

I understand the tire of the flip. I had it going on for 6 months and then told my stylist, "CUT IT OFF, BEFORE I DO IT MYSELF!"

Can't wait to see what you do...

V!!! You are too cute!! That's a great pic of you. You remind me of Marcia Gay Harden only prettier and skinnier! :lmao:

I wish I had the guts to cut my hair that length. It's very sassy. I'm in desparate need of sassy. ;)

So, OT, sort of... Did anyone see American Idol this week, when J.Lo performed??? Ok, am I the only person who loved her hair?? I love big hair, I really should move to Texas or something.....:rotfl:

You all are so sweet - thanks for making me feel so good! :grouphug:

Frankly, I think I look like a big ol' egg in that pic. Just can't seem to outgrow those chubby Italian cheeks. :sad2:

As far as the flippie-thing - it was actually cut to go under. But my hair likes to flip. Yesterday, I blew it under, then flattened it under... by the time I got to work - FLIP. This morning, I again blew it under, then hit it with the curling iron... 15 minutes later - FLIP. I think I'm cursed.

Well, something may or may not happen to it this weekend. And I may or may not tell you about it next week! ;) Stay tuned... :happytv:

You look Mahvelous!! Absolutely Mahvelous!!! I love the flip! If it is bothering you then cut it. If not, it is probably gonna flip anyway. I say leave it alone, you look adorable!

You've added a new cliff hanger! Will she cut or not? :confused3 :rotfl: :rotfl2:

You are gorgeous!!! I keep my vote to wait!!

DLMama: I call that big hair "Rodeo Hair" and have been known to have it every once in awhile.

I have Rodeo Hair. I'll be glad when the 80's style comes back. Then I can dig out the Member's Only jacket and the parachute pants and I'll be the queen of fashion once again! :thumbsup2
