Have any of you out there had a spouse "DW" say we can't go then maybe we can go, maybe we should go earlier, maybe later? As of now we have a November BWV booked for F&W. I know if I give up the reservation that there will be no shot at getting it again even 2 days from now. I checked this morning for October availability and guess what nothing nowhere notta.......So I guess I'll hang on for a little longer. Sorry to those out there waiting for some BWV days to become available.

just tell him - if he wants the f&w festavial - that is it.

next year let him made the reservations - so he knows how hard it is to get!

Its my wife thats can't seem to make up her mind. Me, I'm good to go to Disney anytime and I am sure the kids would be to. The F&W really doesn't come into our equation when we travel but it is a bonus when we are there. Our November trip coincides with teacher conferances and Veterans Day. So we get a longer stay with the kids missing fewer days at school.

I booked the reservation then bought non-refundable plane tickets!! :lmao:
DH learned his lesson! I know...it was evil and I was lucky that his vacation got approved, but I couldn't take it anymore! (it's actually for our Dec. 08 trip!)

OOOO you devil...but very effective!!!! I just always tell my husband to leave the arrangements to me, get the time off, and enjoy. After 20 years of marriage, he has finally let go and let me do the planning!! :goodvibes

My husband doesnt even know the word planning!!! Its all me and thats how it will probably always will be! If I let him do it we would either 1) never vacation or 2) end up at a knock off place called Smisney World. :rotfl:

The closest he gets to planning is me bringing him the big DVC picture book and him pointing at the resort he likes.

This is too funny!!!!

I do the same thing at our house. My DH never even gets to pick the resort. I just tell my DH when to be ready and where to go. ( not necessarily in that order;) )

Guys!, this is my life! If I waited for my DH to say let's go, we would never go anywhere. When we get there, I am the travel planner for anywhere we go. To the OP, just plan the trip, she is lucky to have you!!!:goodvibes

My Future trips.
7 day trip to Grand Cayman in July with all the family...
I have a week in the Gatlinburg planned in Oct. might cut some of this short
A 7 cruise to the Med in Nov.
A 7 day cruise in Jan.
Disney May 09

I need to slow down a little, Maybe.:goodvibes

That is how my husband prefers it. I texted him last Monday and asked him "can we go to Disney in Nov?" Now this was after having gone last Nov. and two trips prior to that in one year plus we have our up and coming July trip...his response texted back "sure?" LOL He just likes to know the dates so he can put in for the dates. He just says...tell me when we leave and when we get home and you figure out all the rest. So we are going back over THANKSGIVING WEEK BUT NOT ON POINTS. On this same day I had us leaving on Friday the week before Thanksgiving and returning home the day after and the airfare options were better if we left on Thursday the week before and at one point I thought about staying Friday the day after the holiday too....so I called him and he said "I don't care how long we stay as long as I am back to work on Monday". :rotfl2: He IS JUST TOO EASY!!!!!!

Thankfully, DW and I are both planning obsessed nuts.

We plan our trips LONG in advance....so long that sometimes I think we might have a "problem". :)

For example, we bought DVC back in February of '07, and within days had our 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011 trips "roughed out" for dates.

'08 was early January in a 1 BR SV view at AKV

'09 will be early December in a 1 BR SV view at AKV

'10 will be late September in a 2 BR SV view at AKV

'11 will be mid October in accomodations and at a resort TBD

I'm being vague, but we have actual DATES picked out. :)

Hello, I'm pilferk and I'm a planaholic.
