Oh what a horrible trip!!!! Now for something completely different-Final blast ......

Nice bathroom. :thumbsup2 Looks immaculate.

Well, of course you would! :rotfl:

:rotfl:

We'll never turn down random shots of Disneyland.:thumbsup2

I sorted these months ago and now just have the links so I am just as surprised as you are when I see what I grouped together. :rotfl2:

Sorry this part is so ADD. :lmao:

All the different bathrooms are really interesting, especially the different signs and tile designs. But I really love that White Rabbit statue!!

I always think the signage and attention to detail where even the bathroom has a theme is noteworthy. I mean they are just bathrooms and could easily all be the same.

So there's a bathroom in California labeled "Queens"?

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

:rotfl2: I bet that could cause some confusion..... :rotfl2: Not that there's anything wrong with that......

yep snack credits are used on i would say 80% of the items at the booths, everything we got was on a snack credit

of course no booze on them.

the filet at canada was even a snack credit.

A time where I did have the DP and it was food and wine I was always making sure I used my snack credits on "worthy" items". :rotfl2:

Now I need a booze credit. :rotfl2::rotfl2: I could put that to good use.

I see that but cannot find anywhere a listing of all the presentations and demonstrations and seminars.....

Yeah, I've been looking for that as well! I thought I'd check on the passholders site on 8/9 and see if there's anything there. Otherwise, I guess I'll have to call and see :crazy2:

Good thing it is located in Southern California, instead of further north, or there might be even more confusion..................not that there's anything wrong with that. :rolleyes2

Nice bathroom. :thumbsup2 Looks immaculate.

It was first thing in the morning but yes they were pretty clean when you could fined them..... :rotfl2: I did have an episode later on.

I like the border of the red hearts and black and white.

Yeah, I've been looking for that as well! I thought I'd check on the passholders site on 8/9 and see if there's anything there. Otherwise, I guess I'll have to call and see :crazy2:

I have tried to search in a few different places but all I get is the food and wine site with the overviews, nothing specific. :confused3

So don't want to have to call......... :crazy2:

Pat - I don't know if this is something to be proud of - but you take the best bathroom pictures. :rotfl2:

I also love all the memorabilia pictures. Great detail. They really capture the essence of the park. What an awesome place.

Bring on the rides!

Ahhh another ninja poster..... :rotfl2:

They might need to be more specific on their signs..... just sayin'

That filet was yummy. Looking forward to having it again. The filet in Canada and the short ribs in France- Add soup and a drink and that's a meal.

I am really so interested in the tile work and themes. Like I said earlier, it would be so easy to just have them be all the same but the magic follows you to the bathroom..... :rotfl2:

I will hopefully go into this again a bit later but Disneyland is all about being the original. It seems everything is about history and " This is where it all started."

They celebrate the fact that they are small and cater to many locals. IT is very California casual and that can be good or not so much.

Thanks for the compliment... I think. :rotfl2: I do really like to capture that tile work.

You do take great bathroom pictures. :thumbsup2
I just love seeing all the different things at DL

I have to add bathroom pix and trash cans to my photo lists !!Carol ill be sooo thrilled that along with food I am photographing "LOOS" and rubbish bins:rotfl2::rotfl2:

:lmao: on the bathroom pics. It was like being in an alternate universe really. All very familiar and then bam something different.

I love the models of rides and the vintage Disneyland displays. That must be endlessly fascinating to wander through.

So easy to get lost in there. So much neat stuff to see. I can't remember exactly but there was a while until the show started but I was content to look around.

I can help you drive Carol nuts when I tell everyone to go in the bathroom to look at the tile. :lmao::lmao: I need to show you the bathroom by Pirates. I tis not really hidden but I thought it was and it is kind of out of the way.

Well, Pat, it looks like I'm going to have to read this Disneyland stuff all over again because,

WE GOT A ROOM BOOKED AT GRAND CALIFORNIAN FOR MARCH!!!

Yup, we were on line this a.m. at 7 our time and got it right at the 7 month mark. We will have to add some days when our new points become available (should be this week), and we may move it out one day, but we're going to DISNEYLAND!!! Now I have to stalk the airfares and stuff!

I'll probably be asking you lots of questions too. Hope you don't mind!

Of course, I already know what the bathrooms and trash cans look like! ;)

Ooohh, aaaah! I'm in love with all the Disney jewellery, especially the necklace with the spiral-ish Mickey head!
All of the memorabilia is so awesome, but how cool to have the actual park bench where the thought was sparked. And the actual Merry Go Round horse too. Very special!

Pat, great updates. I just :rotfl: with your pictures of bathrooms. Love the "shopping" excursion. I felt like I was at Epcot with some of those photos. :)

AWESOME!!!!!! Go ahead and ask and hopefully I will remember. :rotfl2:

There are some great threads that I used to help plan. One being the WDW guide to DLR under the Disneyland threads.

Hopefully I will get moving and start posting more regularly.

It was very special. I like that swirly head mickey with the matching earrings. Hard to find though and I need to save up and be able to find them when I am ready.

I love that swirly Mickey jewelry. Do you remember what pricing was like?

I think the sterling silver set was $78.00 maybe.

They did have some cute shops with some cute merchandise.
