I do love the way you are presenting this trip though, updating by subject/park areas instead of just reliving each day in detail! So much to see and keeps it all together very nicely! So many hidden things that most people don't stop and notice.

The ride- typical dark ride and blurry photos.. It was enjoyable and I like Monsters but may actually choose the Laugh Floor over this ride simply for the laughs and variety factor.

I'd probably lean the same way. I liked the items in the vending machine, though.

Mike & Sully to the Rescue looks adorable! I think I need to ride that some day. Monsters Inc. is my favourite movie!

It was a cute ride. I would do it again but would not wait in line for it if you know what I mean. Then again the line is pretty cute and I did wait a bit...just long enuogh to look around and get some pictures.

Trash Cans, bathrooms and tile. That's me. I think the bathrooms started when someone else remarked how even the bathrooms are themed. That is the plus, I mean it is a bathroom, but extend theming that far is amazing.

I recently went to a local zoo and while theming there was not spectacular the bathrooms were exactly what you would find at any park. CInder block and no color. Did it surprise me ...no but I did notice.

As I said above I started taking pictures of bathroom and the tile in particular since I was amazed the theming extends all the way to the bathroom too.

I will spoil and say I did go on but I will also spoil and say I did not get video. I guess that will be for next time. I did get pictures and some geek shots of the World of Color fountains during the day but when the car was swinging I was holding on for dear life.

Yes I will ride coasters and ToT but swinging in a car or an open ferris wheel makes me hold on. I fall into the catagory of fear of falling out. If I am strapped in I am good. Otherwise - not so much.

I have heard that and Carsland rumors. I watched Cars recently and was floored that at resemblance.

It was a bit odd. The whole kid bring his dog back as Frankenstein.

Well now I know I don’t want to go see it.




Tower of Terror

Tower of terror is different in that when you load the door opens and you have to cross a hallway before the entrance to the car. If you want to be surprised skip the part – I put it in white so you are not tempted- The car then goes straight from ghosts to dropping no short ride to latch into the mechanism. –CAught me a bit off guard. When you exit since the loading door is closed you exit down that hallway. A bit disorienting but neat.

Frankenweenie just didn't look like a movie that would appeal to me, but then I can't say I've been a fan of any movie Tim Burton has done.

I loved seeing the differences between ToT at DL and at DHS! The themeing is so great on that ride! And you got some great pictures, especially of the ghosts that I know isn't an easy thing to do!!!

I am excited about the Monsters, Inc. ride. Jeremy and I both love that movie and are excited to see the new one this summer. The ride is a must do on our list for November.

Too cool about you whiting out the spoiler on TOT. I am in awe as I had no idea you could do that.

I think I would like the immediate drop better than the car coming out and moving to the drop zone. That freaked me out probably more than the ride itself the one time I rode it. Jeremy says he is going to try it in California so we will see. I might get brave and do it again.

Frankenweenie----I endured the movie for Jeremy on our cruise. It was showing one afternoon. I think Tom's exact words as we exited and he was shaking his head, "This is 90 minutes of my life I will never get back."

3D did not help it either. I guess I get the concept but Tim Burton made it really dark too dark for Disney.

I did like Tim Burtons Nightmare before Christmas, James and the Giant Peach and edward scissorhands in a weird way.

I LOVE ToT. Funny, not a fan of falling, but somehow in that elevator I am fine and enjoy it.

I think The Muppetvision theater is now being used more for previews. I think obviously the Frankenweenie is over but another preview took its place.

Somebody's TR we did that for guesses to a contest or something. It's easy - change the text to white.

TIm Burton had gotten weirder but as I said above, I like James and the Giant Peach, Nightmare before Christmas and even Edward Scissorhands. THE others ...not so much.

Which was then leveraged and used when they built the Tokyo version.

Had a nice mechanical engineering discussion of the why's and what's which I'll spare you but it was interesting to hear how it all came about from someone intimately involved in it.

That said...I think the drop is much better/cooler at WDW though that has absolutely nothing to do with the revised design.
