Oh Kathy. I finally popped on the Dis to say have a good trip and I read this. I'm so very sorry for you and Mark. I don't know what else to say except that I hope God brings you comfort and peace during this sad time. You and Mark have my best wishes. THANK YOU EVERYONE. You are all very special to us, and we appreciate your love and support.

I am leaving the office in 20 minutes to go home and do a couple of loads of laundry. Then we are going to go see Mark's dad for a little bit to see how he is holding up. There will be a private family service on the Monday after we get back (October 1).

I don't know that I'll have time to get back here and "recap" the rest of our days.

For those of you who are friends with me on FB, there will be periodic updates of hat pictures, etc. I'll try to post an update here as well if I can.

After all that has gone on, I think we are going to have more "down" time than planned.
