I say the heck with the PTR and just do a TR...what do you think? Or start the PTR the week before we leave? Or just keep em all guessing?

Thank you! I'll probably end up PM'ng you here or sending a message on Facebook. I have questions about what kind of room request we should put in or where should try to be. But, every time I look at the resort map, I just get overwhelmed for some reason. I think it just seems so huge to me.

I didn't know you started a PTR! I am here now and following along! I am thinking of starting one for my College Program trip but haven't decided yet...

And for two trips! Especially one at Christmas! I love WDW at Christmastime.

I'm so glad you found me. Be sure to let me know if you do a TR...I want to be there.

It will be so nice to see Disney at Christmas.

Great choices on the resorts. Because of you we tried CSR a couple of years ago and now have been there 2 more times. When the kids come with us the next time have to look into renting points for a 2 bedroom at OKW. Hope you are having a good Wednesday!! Elaine

LOVE LOVE LOVE the CSR; it will be nice to go back. You definitely have to rent points for OKW...it is beautiful.

I was behind. Still sad that we will not be a part of any of the trips Darn school. Hurray for OKW, I almost picked there for the June trip but the girls wanted to try out the new feature pool at SSR. I know CSR has lots of good memories for you so hurray for your Dec stay. You guys are going to have an Epic time in Dec. I wish Jeff and I could get away and join in the fun... I am kinda with Nicki on the 2 PTR idea-sorry..... Speaking of Ms Nicki-we need to plan to meet up in Oct so Todd and I can buy the birthday drinks

I'm still sad too. It's going to be so weird not having my girls and buying popcorn and having them eat it all, and getting hugs, etc.

Let me know how the girls like the new pool.

So I'm skimming along here, trying to get caught up and I learn that you're going to stay at CSR (that's my "surprised" face) and OKW....and AKL (or AKV?) in 2013 but we're getting ahead of ourselves with that one.

So, as mentioned previously, we arrive in Orlando around 10:12 a.m. We will walk to the Magical Express for Mark's very first ride on the ME (like I'm any kind of a pro).

I'm hoping we will arrive here

by noon. We will check in. Perhaps we will be lucky like we were last time and our studio will be ready.

If the room is ready, we will unpack. If not, we'll head to the Gurgling Suitcase for our first adult beverage of the trip and some lunch.

Then we will head here:

I'm sure with the early flight that Mark will be taking a nap in one of the lounge chairs.

And I'm sure Mark will want to go in here (even if it is 110 in the shade!):

Hot tub --

We'll then go and freshen up and walk back to the dock and take to the boat to Downtown Disney so that we can head to Earl of Sandwich for some of these yummy sandwiches:

And then we'll hit here:

And if he is a very good boy, I may even take Mark for some of this:

After that, it's back to the boat for a romantic ride back to OKW and bed as we have an EARLY morning the next day.

Well arriving at OKW is always a great start to any trip. I love that you are going to taking it "slow" and not head to a park, but enjoy the resort and DTD!

Can't wait for more! I really need to start posting our plans too! We are going home a week before you arrive and I haven't posted a single day.

Actually, it isn't bad. I use it each time and really prefer it to the time we drove a rental.

Have I ever told you all how proud I am of my sons?

Our youngest son, Mark, has a wrestler on his youth team (age 10) who was diagnosed with Leukemia two days ago and is in the hospital.

Mark has already contacted the University of Iowa and a couple of other colleges to donate some "gear" for this young man, and Mark is having t-shirts made up and is selling them and the profits will go the family to help with the medical expenses.

The t-shirts will say:

Front: "Alex E putting cancer in a headlock"

Back: "Leukemia, just another opponent Alex WILL pin".

He has sold 75 shirts already.

That child of mine made me very teary-eyed this morning.
