Ok, so I am taking a quick weekend getaway in December. The resort that I wanted was not available, seems all the values were booked up (I am not so sure). So....I went with the only moderate that they told me was available. Caribbean Beach, so this was ok...but now that I checked today Coronado Springs is now the only moderate available...what do I do now???? Do I want to switch. I just read the what is your favorite moderate thread and now I don't know what I want to do....

I need some opinions, which one do you recommend and why???

I didn't like either - but I don't like resorts where you have to hop on the bus to get to the front area to get food or to go to the cool pool. But I really didn't like the food at CSR - so if I had to choose between the 2 you mentioned, I'd stay at CBR.

There I did it. My first negative response about my family's experiences at a disney hotel.......... I feel cheap and dirty somehow.

Alicia Alicia Alicia...........how could you do it :rotfl2:

If it makes you feel better I will cancel out your negativity......we love CSR :goodvibes and don't plan to ever return to CBR.

CSR ~ there is food by the pool, we love the quality of the food and atmosphere at the food court, we love the varied styles of the buildings, the awesome pool & slide, plenty of seating at the pool, the large hot tub away from the pool, the gorgeous walks around the lake at night, the extra amenties and good bus service. And we never hopped an interior bus to get anywhere. If you want size comparison: CSR footprint is circular around 15 acre lake and CBR is oblong around 45 acre lake.

Okay pongoperdigirl, you are back to square one

OK I'll push you back out of neutral and say CSR is more to my preference than CBR.

Love the fountains, the salon, the walkways, the conventioneers who disappear all day long, the water.

Like the hammocks at CBR but CSR has the edge for me.

Saw the headline, and thought a blimp fell on you. :rotfl2:

Glad to see you seem to be OK. :rotfl:

That's what lured me into this thread too!

Great titles work!!! :teeth:

I've been to both, and CSR wins hands down. We just stayed there the last week of August. The kids and adults loved the dig site and pool, it was awesome. The food was also great, both at Pepper Market and at the Mayan Grill.

CSR for me but you'll be at WDW so I'm sure you will have a great time!

Switch to CSR fast before it's sold out!!! It is a wonderful resort. We just didn't care for CBR and I went thinking I :Pinkbounc would love it. Can't wait to be back at CSR!!!

CSR is beautiful! You'll love it! It's our 2nd favorite after AKL.
