We will be at disney for 9 days... I may add another day ;) And I need some help with dinning choices, mostly TS. We are on the dinning plan and it will be me my DH and our 2.5 year old DD. What places out of the following would you reccomend? I need to trim down the list.

Ohannas (have never been there, do not know what to expect)
Trails End (we are staying at WL, thought this might be convienent)
WCC (have never done it, but sounds like fun)
Le Cellier (have been here before and DH says it is a must do next time)
Coral Reef
LTT
1900 Park and Fare
(would you do this for breakfast or dinner or not at all???)
Capt n' Jacks (is this place worth it, also since they take no ADR's is it a pain to get in?)
50's Prime Time Cafe
CRT ( a big maybe here, I have always wanted to eat in the castle but I am not too sure now with all the changes)
Concourse
CP

Please let me know your opinions and if I have left anything out that you think is just great. We do have ADRS for Hoop Dee Doo already and that we are definaltey going to try.

Thanks :earboy2:

Here is what I am planning that is similar to your's:

1) Trying Ohana Character breakfast with Lilo & Stitch. Can't wait for that character enteraction.
2) Trying LeCellier for dinner. Have never been before but have always wanted to. With the dining package I will finally take that plunge.
3) Love Whispering Canyon Cafe. Good food & good fun.
4) 1900 Park Fare Character dinner. Have been to breakfast with the princesses several times but don't think I will do it again with the changes they have made. Food isn't really all that great so we will visit Cinderella at the Grand Floridian.
5) Crystal Palace is always a great meal and we usually end up having at least a breakfast and a lunch or dinner there.

As for the rest of them:
1)Trails End - I have always heard the food is great here but it is one of the cheaper places to eat so I won't use a TS credit to eat here. If we do try it it will be paid for out of pocket.
2)Coral Reef - I have not eaten here but have had friends that have and they weren't all that impressed.
3)LTT - Would love to try it sometime but never seem to be able to fit it in.
4)Capt'n Jack's - again never tried it. We seldom eat at DTD but when we do it is always a pain to get in anywhere.
5)50's Prime Time - Yet another I would love to try but we always have something else planned for the evenings and are never hungry enough to eat that big of a lunch.
6)Concourse - It sounds greast but we have never been hear either.

We always do Chef Mickey's. It is a mustfor the kids every trip.

Ohannas - Never have eaten here.
Trails End - Did a character breakfast here back in 2000 and it was very nice.
WCC - Don't know this accronym.
Le Cellier - Can't blame your husband, a must do. One of the better locations.
Coral Reef - Once was enough, next time will only be for dessert.
LTT - OK, not great but not bad. If your interested in the characters a good choice.
1900 Park and Fare - A very good breakfast buffet but hardly worth the money. It was our way of sneaking a peak at the GF without the "men folk" being any the wiser.
Capt n' Jacks - It's been so long since we last visited, it was very good back then.
50's Prime Time Cafe - We have always enjoyed it but plan to pass it up this time because we "have done that."
CRT - Since your daughter is so young I would pass on this one this trip. Maybe by the time you go back to visit the world they will change their pricing and go back to regular meals. She is really too young to enjoy it fully so why bother.
Concourse - I have never eaten here but considered it for this trip. I was told it was very loud and distracting. We are going to give Kona a try instead.
CP - A great dislike for this one by all in our party.

Of the ones you mentioned, we have eaten at Coral Reef, LTT, 50's Prime Time, CRT, and CP. Some are the type thing you might want to do only once, i.e., 50's PT. We had a fairly good experience at each; the ones I would return to are LTT and CP. Possibly CRT. Enjoy!

Hi!

All of your choices are making me hungry! :earboy2:
Here's my take:

Ohana- My hubby LOVED this place, but I got really grossed out about the legs still being attached to the shrimp and couldn't eat anything. (I realize, however, that this is a function of my neurosis that most people don't have). So, if you're looking for atmosphere and really like meat this is worth a shot.

WCC- We've only done this for breakfast, but we love it. The food is outstanding and the service is unbeatable and entertaining.

Le Cellier- Only had the cheese soup, but it was wonderful!

Concourse- This has always been a favorite of ours, and I don't find it noisy it all. It's actually quite cozy and you get to watch the monorail while you eat. (Our waitress did, however, steal my sunglasses here once).

CP- I assume this means Crystal Palace. If not, disregard everything I say. I have been taking my nephews here since they were very small, and they just love it. My youngest nephew always asks when we're going back to "that big glass room." I think the food here is really good, no matter what meal, and the character interaction is excellent. We passed this up for the Plaza Restaurant last time--BIG MISTAKE.

Have a fun trip!

Ohannas - ate there once, was nice, but didn't inspire us to go back.
Trails End - never been, but given available options on the plan I'd skip this.
WCC - it is a lot of fun. Kids love it and the food is good.
Le Cellier - go every trip, a must do.
Coral Reef - never been.
LTT - never been.
1900 Park and Fare - Best buffet on property, great for either meal, always eat here, must try the strawberry soup.
Capt n' Jacks - see Ohanas
50's Prime Time Cafe - neat place, average food, not the best option on the plan.
CRT - for 1 TS credit, go for it. For 2 TS credits, I'd pass - unless you've never been, in which case it might be worth doing once, but only once.
Concourse - great burgers and steaks.
CP - good buffet and great chracters.

Using the plan, I'd put them in this order:

Le Cellier
1900 Park Fare
Coral Reef
Wispering Canyon
CRT (if 1 credit)
Concourse Steakhouse
Ohanas
Crystal Palace
Cap n Jacks
50's Primetime
LTT
CRT (if 2 credits)
Trails End

Other restaurants to consider:

Chefs de France - very good
Kona cafe - very good , try the Koko Puffs for dessert.
Cape May Cafe for breakfast - oh, the creme filled Krispy Kremes!!!

I am justifying my choices like this:
'Ohana for breakfast due to Lilo & Stitch
1900 Park Fare for dinner since it's Cindy, Prince Charming & the mice (this way we can skip CRT until they lower their prices again ;) )
WCC- just seems fun for kids of all ages
50's Prime Time- the only one we've already been to, but one of our favorites!
CP- didn't care for the lunch buffet, so we're trying breakfast- loved the character interaction and it's beautiful. Hard to mess up breakfast.
Le Cellier- we've done and although it was great, I'm going to go to Coral Reef since it's dropping to 1 credit!
Don't know much about the others, so that's all I can contribute. Good luck!

Thank you all for all of your responses. I noticed that there is another thread almost just like mine.. so I peeked over there also ;)

If anyone else has any suggestions I would love to hear them.

Of the places you have mentioned, I recommend: Trails End (we had breakfast here and it was really good, afterwards we went to the petting zoo and rode the boat back to the CR. You can take the boat from WL)
Ohana's We did this for breakfast one morning. It was good, but just typical breakfast food except for the pineapple bread, which is worth going to get.
CRTWe loved breakfast here, but don't know with the new changes coming about. I would probably still do it.
Concourse We ate dinner here and it was really good. The kids had glowing ice cubes in their drinks which they loved.
CP Dinner here was good and character interaction was great.

Boma's is great is you are going to be around AK. We loved this restaraunt and being able to walk around AKL.
Chef Mickey's is another of our favorites for dinner.

We did not care for 50's Prime Time. Glad I went and experienced it, but wouldn't go out of my way to go again.

WCC: We went for lunch and had the skillet. The food was good, we ate so much that we didn't bother with dinner, we had the apple pie that we got for dessert at WCC and didn't eat when we got back to the room that night for a snack. It's a fun place. We'll definitely go again.

LTT: We did the character dinner. It was probably my favorite of the character meals we did as far as the characters go. I didn't feel rushed there at all like I did with Chef Mickey's. The food was OK, nothing to write home about but not bad. My kids want to go back next time but I'm trying to talk them into something else, not because I didn't like it but because I'm not sure it was good enough to go two times in a row though I know many people make it a must do for each trip. I would definitely recommend it as a place everyone should do once.

1900 Park Fare: We went for dinner. If you've got a Cinderella fan it should definitely be on your list. Even if you don't have a Cinderella fan the food was worth going for. We'll probably go back next time but try breakfast this time so we can see what it's like.

CRT: We did dinner here for my Dd's birthday. It was great for a special meal but now that they're going to change the menu and make it two TS credits on the dining plan we won't go back.

We LOVED 50's Prime Time Cafe for the service. Cousin George was so fantastic and made the meal for us. Had an ADR for 4:20, got to our table around 5.

Of the 6 of us, 4 really enjoyed the food. 2 thought it was ok but not outstanding. The fried cheese was interesting, not your typical motz cheese sticks. The steak was average, the shrimp cocktail was typical. The fried chicken was popular at our table.

Kids app choices were either chicken noodle soup or a salad. Neither a hit with the 3 yr old. But the kid's dessert "Make Your Own SUndae" at the table was a hit with both girls however.

We ate there for the 50's experience and b/c we had heard about the fun servers. Neat atmosphere. We were happy with our choice!

You will have a great time no matter what so having fun planning!!!!!

We just got back, so I'll give you some of our favorites. It was me, dh, ds2.5 and ds4.5. We were on the dining plan.

We did Ohana for both breakfast and dinner. Dinner we used the dining plan, and breakfast we paid oop. The character interaction for breakfast was great, we had mickey, pluto, lilo and stitch and everyone got around to our table in a timely manner and they didn't seem rushed. The food was also really good. The dinner was great, dh feels this was the best meal of our trip.
I felt we were a bit rushed, but not to the point where it got uncomfortable. We had a table by the window, and were there in time for Wishes. They didn't dim the lights, but did pipe in the music. The food was really good, we really liked everything we tried and were stuffed by the end. They also included virgin frozen drinks with the dining plan. My kids really enjoyed the character parade in the morning and the limbo at dinner. Overall it was a lot of fun and we will difinitely do both again.

Le Cellier was great for dinner, the food was excellent, the service was very good, and the restaurant itself was very beautiful. Will do this again.

1900 Park Fare, we had dinner there and although we enjoyed it, I expected more, character interaction was very slow, we were done with our food before everyone got around to see us. The food was good, but it was still a buffet, which we found out we don't enjoy that much, especially with kids. We will probably not do this again.

CRT we did for dinner, it was very nice, however I don't think we would do it again especially with the price increase.

CP we did for breakfast and really enjoyed. The character interaction was really slow, but we really enjoyed the food, both the quality and the variety. We will probably do this again.

Concourse steakhouse we did for dinner and really enjoyed it. It was not as loud as I thought it would be, and the food and the service were really great. We will definitely do this one again.

The other ones on your list we did not try, so can't really offer an opinion on it. For us the top 3 dinners we had were at Ohana, Le Cellier, and Concourse Steakhouse, and the breakfasts were Ohana and CP.

I would only do Trails End if you were hanging out at the Lodge that day, it's not as convenient as you'd think. We went to breakfast one day and we loved it, but it took us 20 minutes to get there and 20 minutes to get back. We were having a resort day so it didn't matter, but if you were in a hurry to get some where it might get in the way. I'd go to Whispering Canyon instead.

I did not care for Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner. The lunch is pretty good, though. If you're looking for a character meal the Crystal Palace is very good.
