Thursday night I thought I was deleting a DISign and instead I deleted 3 folders. One of them was all of the original information for the Sticky's. I realize I can cut/paste the information out of the sticky, back into a file and reformat, but that will take some time. Also, All of the past information I had for DISigners is now lost. I had a backup, but it only went back to Februay. Silly me.

I will be out of town starting Monday and will return 8/30. I will be at the Boardwalk & the pin event and will be wearing a customized shirt each day. Made two for the pin event that I haven't put up yet. I will try and do that tomorrow.

Check your recycle bin. When I delete files, it automatically send it to my recycle bin. Worth a shot.

Yep, me too. You should be able to recover the whole folder. A few weeks ago, I deleted a whole Photobucket folder. Tons of stuff, I couldn't recover it.....bummer!


I hope you are able to get it all back!

As my DH says often I have a "Ph.Duh". Yeah, a really duh moment. I hit delete, a little sign popped up and said "are you sure you want to delete this as it is too big for the recycle bin and will just permanently delete". Now if I was thinking I would know that one picture would not be to big for the recycle bin, but noooooooo, it was a "duh" moment & I said, sure, go ahead, permanently delete that folder that's way to big for my recycle folder. A few seconds into it I realized I was deleting my main folder with over 1,000 pieces of clip art and disigns in it. I hit stop, but not before I lost 3 folders. Silly, silly me. So they are deleted, somewhere on my C drive I am sure, but that good thing is I am doing a back up tonight of my whole C folder so if it happens again, I am set.

exactly why I purchased a ClickFree external backup drive. Once a week it backs up music, photos, documents, clip art etc. just by plugging it in to a USB port....miracle!

Sometimes your computer will save a copy to your temp folder.

Thanks everyone. I have a great back up. I just need to remember to use it.(the duh part again ). I have sinced cleaned my machine so where ever it might have been, it's gone. That's ok, compared to some people I got off pretty lightly. However, I did a backup last night, so I am set for a few weeks. Penny
