We have been talking about possible canceling our trip b.c unless a really great code comes out we aren't sure we can swing the trip. Of course today I checked my email and guess what a code email!!! Yah!!!! Nope - it was for my PARENTS - they traveled with us on our last trip and my father wanted a DVD about the parks but didn't want to put his email down b.c he didn't want all the emails that come with it so he put mine in (they are NOT disney people and did NOT have a good time - they basically came b.c they wanted to see DD#1's face on her 1st trip). There is NO way they would go back- so here I have a 40% off code and I can't use it

call and tell them you got the code and you were the one that paid for the trip that he just ordered the DVD and maybe you have a code attached to your name and they can tell you that...sometimes they have one but don't always mail it out. All they can say is no so call!!!!

I think if you can prove it is your email somehow you may be able to use it. Seems someone else on this board had that issue not long ago. Certainly worth investigating. Also, it seems once they have it that way, it doesn't go away.

We are in a similar situation. We want to go the first week of June 2010 but if we don't get a decent discount I don't think we will be going. Being a family of 5 (plus 1 infant) can get VERY pricey at Disney since we pretty much have to stay deluxe so we all can fit or get 2 rooms at a Mod that cost more then 1 room at most deluxe resorts.

I have read here before that if it comes to your email, you can use it.

I had got the 40% PIN- under my mom's name (similar situation as yours!). I darn well plan to take advantage of it!!

Same here - got an email with code in my cousins's name because he traveled with us. I plan on calling and trying to book for the spring.

What rate with the Disney Visa...and for what dates please?? We're no longer able to go during off peak seasons (boys are too far into school...grades 6 and 7) and we're hoping for a June trip....although I dread the heat.

I got the same code but for my DD and HER family...I was told last time I received this, I COULD NOT USE IT! SHE has to book the trip, and she never goes...
