Oh no! Nostandard rooms at WL!

We were planning to stay at WL for 5 nights and 6 nights at AKL, but there are no standard room at WL using discount code. We can only afford the discounted rate and even that is pushing it for us. What do we do? We can stay at AKL for all 11 nights or switch to another resort, but which one. It would have to be a mod. resort because 129. per night is our limit! Please help.

I would book AKL for the 11 nights and keep calling for WL. The discount may very well become available for your trip. AKL is very nice. I don't think you will be disappointed.

I'd stay at AKL for the 11 nights, and keep trying to get into WL -- or maybe stay at AKL for all but 2-3 nights and do a Woods View WL room for those just to see the different resort.

These two are my personal favorite resorts. Have a great time!

I had the same problem with getting a standard room at WL, but I kept calling and finally one opened up (coincidentally on the day my deposit was due for the woods view room). You could make a reservation for all nites at AKL so you have something you can live with and then just keep checking back before the codes expire. Good luck!

I'd book the AKL!!! I've stayed at both and before going to the AKL the WL was my favorite. I was VERY nervous to try the AKL, I even went there determined to be disappointed and regret the choice over the WL BUT I fell in LOVE with the AKL. It is now my favorite resort, we even went back to the WL to compare the 2.

Plus I just read in 2 different trip reports that the WL now shares busses with the campground, adding 10-20 minutes to the trips. The AKL has it's own busses and the longest trip was to MK, about 15-20 depending on the time of day. Good luck with your decision!!!

cuz the AK is offering standard rooms from June through Aug to AP
holders for just 129!!
