I was trying to figure out why Brooke would go. Maybe an all expense paid trip to Italy for her silence about Suri's "birth"?

I'm kind of curious, and need to go back in this thread, but how long was the gap between when the first photos were released in Vanity Fair to the first photos of them just out and about?

Well I read this thread on and off and today at work I pulled up the Katie & Suri birthday photos. It has caused a huge controversy here.

Nobody knew who the people in the photo are. So what's the controversy? ...they can't believe that a 4yo child is still drinking out of a bottle!

So she is supossed to not even by 2 yet?! Wow...you'd think the scientology people would have some kind of shrinking machine along with the brainwasher.

Suri "official" birthday is in April. Her "alleged" birthday may have already happened.

"V" was the mini series where the aliens (or "visitors") came and they looked human and started off nice. But they turned out to be lizards under the human "skin" and not nice. It was hilarious.

and Ahhhhh Marc Singer. I used to think he was so hot.

As for John Travolta, I was thinking about that last night. It seems to me that any father would have a hard time having his son looked down on by his own "church". If Jet has the problems that we think he has, and is considered an downgraded person, I can't imagine that John and Kelly would stand for that. I know that if I had kids, I wouldn't stick with any church that wouldn't allow me to get them any help they need. I'd like to think he wants out in some way. He doesn't seem to talk about it as much anymore.

Travolta did the same thing when Princess Diana died. He was saying things like he would fly over on his private jet to be with William and Harry if they called. And that he would take them anywhere they needed or wanted to be. I remember thinking why in the heck would William of Harry call John Travolta.

OMG, since this thread has been reinvigorated, I can't keep up! LOL!!

Anyway, of course JT would make these idiotic comments. As we now know, courtesy of TC's mostly incoherent Sci. video, Scientologists are the experts when it comes to getting people through tragedy. So, they bum rush anyone who is in distress and make it sound like comapssion to get them to board the mother ship!

Okay, JT has really lost it. One to many glasses of Kool-aid. Perezhilton has the whole interview up with Woman's Day that he did about the passing of Heath Ledger. :sad1:

Here is is, in all it's glory.
WD: Did you know Heath? How has his death affected you?
JT: I did know Heath and I adored him. I am pretty devastated over this. He was my favourite actor and my favourite talent. It's like losing James Dean. I would give back all my awards and all my nominations just to have him back — I think he is a real loss as a persona and as a talent. And this whole evening is very hard for me. We are celebrating Australia week in the USA — and it's killing me. (What in the world is he talking about here? Australia week? Never head of it. Is this some major holiday I'm missing?)You know that he's both of us. He's Australian and from the United States, and he means a whole lot. It's bad situation.

WD: How did you meet him?
JT: I wanted to meet him because I was very impressed with him from the very beginning. His agent introduced me to him at a party, and I just fell — I used every accolade. Actors need other actors to be inspired by, and he was "my" actor.

WD: How did he respond?
JT: I forget that anyone younger than me grew up with me. He was beautiful  :rotfl: in his reaction. I was an idol of his — my reacting that way to his work really blew him away, but he was very modest and almost bashful about the compliment — and didn't want to make a big deal about himself. But he was a big deal.

WD: Did you know of any troubles he may have been experiencing?
JT: As far as I knew he was on top of the world. He had everything going for him and was very serious about his craft, and was looking forward to the best work thrown his way. I know recently there was a separation [between him and Michelle Williams], but the thing is when you have the depth of character and feeling as Heath did — it's a double-edged sword. You are also feeling those things in life. Your sensitivities and perceptions are almost an assault on you. The most beautiful thing you can use in your craft is also the very thing that can make life harsher for you. I would be presumptuous to assume any reasons, it would be inappropriate. My feeling on Heath is I don't want to lose him at any age, 28 or 88, like Marlon Brando. I didn't like his passing, he was special to me, and he was a friend. At any age you don't want to lose someone like that — he was a valuable guy. I am truly sorry and my heart goes out to everyone who knew him and loved him, and actually, my heart goes out to me, I really don't like it. I don't like it… [trails off]

WD: Do you feel for young people in show business now?
JT: I was in a different era, I really don't know. My daughter is starting out in the business and she will be protected by me, and I admire anyone who holds it together nowadays. There are a lot of outside pressures, and then you add the complications of being a superstar — that talent, that depth, and who knows? We would have to be inside that person's head.

WD: What was his most inspirational movie for you?
JT: Well, the first movie I saw him in was The Patriot, but then with Brokeback — I don't think anyone will ever beat that performance, I don't know if it's possible.

Reealy strange. :headache:

Being the amazing child that she is....
But according to KoolAidKatie, Suri is an amazing WOMAN. Not a child. But a WOMAN. So of course she can speak complete sentences at the age of not-quite-two. I bet she's already Katie howt to speak German. Then again, if she were really amazing, she'd have taught her mom to walk away from the Kool Aid.

 JT won Awards????????????:confused3

Update...I googled...YES indeed JT won awards!
The Blockbuster Award
The David ????????????
Golden Apple ????????????????
Golden globe (at least this one I heard of)
Hollywood Film award (along with Amanda Bynes (shes good!)
Stolkholm Film Festival ??????????
TV Land Award (welcome back, you always could find a friend)
& alot of RAZZIEs (was nominated for alot of them too!)

No wonder he is looking to give them away...Couldnt even sell them on Ebay!

HAHHHH! That is exactly what I was thinking! What awards??? What?
What a whack-job! I guess he isn't really willing to give up that much to have him back..........that interview sounds like he had a crush alright! He "just fell...."?????????? fell in what?!!!! LOVE????????????

It sounded like he only met him once, but since he ws so dazzled by him, he just had to give an interview?

When I heard that he died, the first thing I thought was "I wonder if he had any connection to scientology?" and here ya go!

It would be interesting to see if he does....especially since Katie Holmes and Michelle Williams (the mother of Heath ledgers daughter) starred together on Dawsons Creek.

ACK! :scared1: I didn't think about that!!! Another connection!

And what was that quote from Jack Nickolson about "I warned him..."
WARNED HIM ABOUT WHAT???? OR WHO?

Yeah - warned him about what?!?!?!?

*Gulp-Gulp* :sad2:

Jenny McCarthey - I tend to wonder. No one was at the wedding except Scientologists....and the Token SP - Brooke Shields.

Oh, Jenny McCarthey and Jim Carey are definately sittin at the kool-aid bar!

Just the fact that Adam Sandler said that, makes me think he is too........

I gotta wonder what the threatened Brooke with to be a friendsy and go to the wedding........that was major image - damage control at work.

As far as Jenny McCarthy being all over the place lately, for what?, what is all this saturation of kool-aid drinkers? They must have have "church-members" carefully placed in positions having to do with booking the shows...cuz if I was in one of those jobs, I would be like "Jenny who?"

AND...Jenny's son has autism...which could allegedly be a link between herself and John Travolta and Kelly Preston....maybe allegedly. But...on the other hand....Jenny admits that her son has autism....but I do think she also talks about doing things with her son that doctors wouldn't/couldn't........:confused3

Alright - Googling Jenny & Adam - with Scienology. Be back again.

Jenny - (best I could do) http://209.85.207.104/search?q=cach...mccarthy+scientology&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=9&gl=us

Adam - Oh GEEEEZ! The Kool-Aid is flowing like a river in Hollywood:

Stars Defend Tom Cruise After Scientology Video Leak
Hollywood stars Adam Sandler, Dustin Hoffman and Ben Stiller have spoken out in support of fellow actor Tom Cruise - branding the recent backlash against the star as "sickening".

The Last Samurai actor has received a barrage of bad press after a pro-Scientology video featuring Cruise was leaked on the Internet.

Meanwhile, a controversial book by celebrity biographer Andrew Morton has been published in the U.S. - which makes scathing accusations about Cruise's personal life.

Click comedian Sandler says, "To see anyone's private life invaded and mocked like this is sickening.

"It's especially gross when it happens to a guy like Cruise, who's a great dad, a great husband and a great friend."

Meanwhile, legendary actor Hoffman - who starred opposite Cruise in Oscar-winning movie Rain Man - believes the 45-year-old has every right to express opinions about his religion.

He says, "Tom Cruise is an American and has the right to freedom of speech and freedom of religion."

A host of stars have come forward to defend their peer in magazine People, including former couple Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, Jim Carrey and Ben Stiller.

Night at the Museum actor Stiller has slammed rumors suggesting Cruise isn't the biological father of daughter Suri.

He says, "Imagine having a baby and people talking about it the way they did. People lose sight of the fact that Tom Cruise is actually a person. I feel for him."

I agree about JT. I think if he had half a chance, he would flee the alleged nutcases and live his life the way he wants to. I think he mainly stays because of his kids - look what happened to Nicole when she divorced Tom "I'm Suri's real dad - trust me" Cruise .

what (allegedly) exactly has happened....did Nicole lose custody? she was never a scientologist (just married to one), so why couldn't she fight them on keeping her kids?

Ah see, there's the thing....she could win all the custody she wants (if she is willing to have all her deepest secrets revealed and be subjected to whatever they would do to her) BUT - those kids have been brainwashed their whole lives, and they are old enough to CHOOSE who they want to be with and where tey want to be, they CHOOSE to be with him, cuz he is the one with the kool-aid. Nicole said that in an interview....that her kids want to live with him, and there isn't anything she can do about it.
