Out of the list in Christmaself's post - these are the only names I would have known prior to reding this thread.....like I know who Kelly Preston and Leah Remini are now...but before this thread I would not have been able to come up with a face to associate them with.
Greta Van Susteran?? WOW, had no idea, DH watches her, bet he won't now! :rolleyes1

Sooo ... now we have the Smith's. They're not talking about Scientology but they're able to see Suri when only people who've been "dianetically ready" to see her have seen her. So, could they be going through the program and not able to talk about it b/c they're being audited, etc.!?!? They *could* be at the level where they're "dianetically ready" to see the child ... but not at Thetan levels to be major spokespersons.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ......................
I have a feeling that a lot of the people who are drinking the koolade were 'courted' for a long time beforehand. Things like meals at the Celebrity Center with TC or someone else high up. And all sorts of little things like that just designed to lower the resisance because they look very 'normal."
When they have gotten to the point of actually drinking the Koolaid, it probably seems like a very natural progression and they may not even realize that they have crossed over into Scientology.

Also, (from Socialitelife.com).....Katie Homes in Wax!

Now the frontrunner to star in the sequal to The Stepford Wives!
The wax Katie Holmes has the same vacant look that the human one has now.

The paranoid stuff makes me think of famous recluses like Howard Hughes.
I can see why someone so high up in Scientology as Tom is would get paranoid.
Think of it - he has reached the highest level of Scientology called "Clear" which (as I understand it) means he is free of all those pesky little alien spirits that were hiding out in the volcanos. It sounds like Scientologists believe that you can get 'unclear' if any bad influences come near you (which is a great money-making concept since even after you have finished being audited, you still need regular 'tune-up' audits to make sure you stay clear). For someone who drank as much Koolade as Tom seems to have, he would want his child to start out as close to clear as possible, so she needs less auditing than he did to get clear.

I was just wondering about this because I've heard of a few people leaving this "religion" (*cough* CULT). How hard do you think they make it to leave??

well it depends-people who are employed by certain agencies are 'courted' too.

i have an aunt and cousin who were were very devoted to scientology for years. whenever cousin was dating someone he was discouraged if the person was not a member or showed an inclination to join UNTIL he began dating a woman who was employed by the u.s. internal revenue service. all of a sudden despite the woman's total lack of interest in scientology the relationship was heavily encouraged. cousin starts getting invites to events and activities that while were decidedly focused on being social events that did'nt appear to push the scientology agenda. and every time they are 'couple events' where it would be unusual to attend without a wife, s.o. or date. the gal with the i.r.s caught on pretty quickly to the subtle questions she got asked by the 'sahm's' who were just 'interested in what it's like to work outside the home' and refused to attend.

the 'final straw' in my cousin (and his mom's) situation was when cousin's 'auditing' sessions started to revolve entirely around sharing any 'pillow talk' conversations with his now girlfriend that included any information about her job, people she worked with and the like. they quit scientology and despite heavy pressure tactics to get them to return they severed all contact.

Hey, no engagement ring on wax Katie's finger? With the vacant look & lack of baby in arms, I was sure this was supposed to be a RECENT Katie. :confused3

OK, I had to go to Google Earth & find those "crop circles" in New Mexico where the vault is. It was pretty easy because they are marked. And they have this HUGE airfield (runway) there in the deep mountains with NOTHING else around. Weird.

Ok, I'm a dink. How did you find this? I'm coming up empty.

In your search box, put Trementina, NM. Zoom out to 23.51 miles out, and you'll notice a straight line in the upper left corner of the map. Center on that and zoom in closer.

Voila, the circles will appear. Supposedly, there's another set of circles like that in California.

Thanks! Worked like a charm--very interesting stuff...

I didn't look very hard, so I don't know if she left, but here's an interesting page about Greta Van Susteren.
Interestingly, this page says her sister is a forensic Psychiatrist.

And, just for good measure, an interesting article about TC and Scientology.

That bio says she is a practicing scientologist. Someone stated earlier that she left scientology when it started to "interfere in her marriage" but the article talks about her husband being a practicing scientologist as well. Looks like she still a koolaid drinker to me. I will never be able to take her seriously again. I won't be watching her program anymore.

When she hasn't posted in a while- I picture that she is staked out in front of the Celebrity Centre or Tom's house or searching through government files!

Thank you - Im so flattered. :cloud9:

I dont post on weekends though. I only DIS when Im at work (which Im sure my boss appreciates deeply  )

So, it's Monday - Im back at work.... Im sure Ill find more creepy weird Scientology stuff today!

HAPPY MONDAY FELLOW CLEAR THETANS! :thumbsup2 (we already know it all - we're SO clear!)

if we can read this stuff and conclude that this is a cult and hubbard was an evil man then why can't a high power lawyer figure that out too???
