I've haven't been checking out the boards much since returning from our trip in April. I'm happy to say I'm planning a trip in February and feel like I'm back at home scrolling through the boards.

Thanks to everyone that makes this forum somewhere I want to hang around.

I know what you mean! Between trips, my visits are far less regular. Then when I have a trip coming up and start checking posts several times a day, it feels like I'm back with friends :goodvibes

Have fun planning your trip!

I always need a break after a trip...too depressing ;)

I was just thinking the same thing! A lot of great people on here who dedicate their precious time to help total strangers.

thats the thing...we arent really strangers...we have something HUGE in common that brings us together...AND....you can really end up making some lifelong friends...I met my best friend on here years ago and I love her to death and she met her husband on the wdw side of the boards ...this is an AMAZING message board:lovestruc

Wow that's amazing! I can see how you would believe that.

Same here- between trips I manage to stay away. Well, that and my pesky job was getting in the way LOL!

Now, we have moved so I'm between jobs and here I am again. I really look forward to seeing what other people post and helping out when I can.

I am so glad that there are people who take the time to give info and advice to help us all have better trips!:thumbsup2

me too and i love giving advice as well....and it really doesnt matter how well you do or dont know DL...its help for everyone...like me, I dont live too terribly far from DL and my daughter only lives 25 min from there so I really dont need help planning anything but if i pick a random weekend and decide to go, I can always come on here to check out any updated info that i might need to know that I may be unsure about like refurbs or changes in park hours for that day etc...:goodvibes

Wow! Met her dh? I'm guessing a Disney honeymoon? and your BF? That's great! Most of my fam and friends don't get it, kwim? They like DL, but not the LOVE that I have for it. Sigh. My dad was a real true DL lover, like me. But now that he's in heaven, it's just me to carry on the family tradition of Disney magic!

I learn so much here! I also want to thank you all for the advice, tips, trip reports, hotel reviews, etc. You've helped me choose my hotel, sign up for the Target rewards debit card to save 5% on my Disney gift cards we'll use to buy our tickets and meals, and select our dining options in the park!! Yeah!

I know exactly what you mean!! I bet you have heard this as many times as I have: You're going there AGAIN?!?! Yes, we are, and we are going to have a great time! I figure you either get it or you just don't... I've given up trying to explain to people who don't get it!

yep however, its usually me that rolls my eyes at people when they say they aren't going to disney on vacation and i say there is something wrong with them! :rotfl2:

Yep. I've stopped trying to convince or explain it to people. Kinda diminishes my joy over the planning part :). I'm glad you guys get it!!

Lol! I guess the Paris DL was the perfect choice for them!! We lived an hour from WDW for 5 months back in 2005. We were completely spoiled!! Did the parks every weekend for 5 months!! Love!

Funny story about too much Disney-we did breakfast w/ the characters at the polynesian when my parents came to visit. This was one of our lat visits to WDW after 5 months of frequent visits. As Mickey is coming around to the tables to delight the guests w/ a personal interaction, my Dd, who was 5 at the time, waves him off saying "I'm finishing my breakfast Mickey. I'll chat with you later"! My Dad nearly fell out of his chair. Rofl!! We still laugh about it today. She was so spoiled w/ Disney! Lol!
