A girls trip does sound good. Maybe Marc can find some friends to do a boys trip with? Or you can both go but just go your separate ways during the day so you can have best of both worlds? Or Marc can be an honorary girl (I bet he'll like that one!)

I was of course kidding but now I'm thinking there may be some merit in this idea. I can picture him standing outside of a ride or off to the side while we're having a photo taken and he has a dozen different Veras hanging off his arms and shoulders!

I don't know how I missed your PTR but I'm all up to date now! Your plans look awesome and don't feel bad about taking this trip. Like others have said you do have an AP and you need to get your money's worth. Right?

I'm so excited to hear all about mousefest. Oh and that Toy story mania night sounds like a blast!

Can't wait for more! Ohhh and like I said no stress about this trip! It's Disney...go...have fun...no regrets!

So when Marc finally woke up this morning I was telling him about the AP's and such. Then I mentioned a girls trip perhaps if I did have an AP. Then I told him how we figured we could make him an honorary girl if he became our official purse holder and this is what he said,

"I can just see myself pushing one of those blue baby carts filled with purses and cameras following a group of girls all around."

I could not stop laughing because that is such a great visual and secondly because he called it a baby cart. Ummm....it's a stroller.

Thanks for coming along for the ride and for the words of encouragement! I still have some mixed feelings but they are getting less and less. Helped of course by my fellow DIS'ers and also the 80 degree forecast contrasted w/ the fact that it snowed in CT this morning! Mousefest does sound fun and the TSM meet sounds AWESOME! I'm generally pretty shy so hopefully I'll do OK. I do have plans to meet up with at least a few of the folks I've met on the DIS, which I'm really looking forward to!

No apologies necessary! Happy to have you along. Let's see if I can explain easily...

Well first to get the "address" of the particular post to which you want to link you click on the # in the upper right hand corner of hte post. For example it would be "#148" on the post you just left. A separate window will open for just that post and you can copy the address from the address bar or whatever it is called.

Then you go to whatever post you want to leave a link in. I generally do this with several windows open so I can go back and forth easily.

Then you type the words that you want to be a link. For example "day 2 part I" and then put your cursor over those words and highlight them.

Then go to the top of the post window where you'd select font, size, coloro etc. and click on the little globe with the link under them (it's right under the smiley face). A new window will open and you can paste in the address that you had copied before for that single post.

Hope this makes sense!

2xcited2sleep...Christine! I really enjoyed reading through your pre-trip report! I bet you are super excited about your trip...I can't find an exact date of your trip, but it has to be getting close October 11th?? Wow!

We are also planning on staying at Pop Century...opps, havn't announced in our TR yet LOL. IF there was any way we could afford to stay at a nicer place my DREAM place is Animal Kingdom Lodge! I am so envious! Steve and I briefly looked at it, but we can't afford it at this time. Someday maybe.

Did you make any requests for specifics for your rooms? Room preferences. I requested the 70s building at POP and a king sized bed. I know they can't always give you your preferences...but honeymoon is right on our reservation so I am hoping they will try to help us

We stayed at POP in Feb... in the 70's building. I liked it there! It was not real close to the pools, but not far from anything in general my kids loved the Computer pool in the 80's section, they said it was warmer than the other 2 pools... it was the closest one to us anyway.
