On the Dinosaur front, this is proof I am never riding it. Strangely I have been pregnant or we didn't go to DAK due to timing issues on our trip so I guess this is just chock one more more up to not riding Dinosaur!

I'd really like a course map, as I try to adjust my play list accordingly. Some parts in the past have had been really dull (Osceola Parkway, I'm talking to you!) and I try to estimate what time I will be there and put more peppy, fun songs for that range. I got lucky and guessed for Paris, since they didn't release the course map until well after I was in Europe. #firstworldproblems

In my opinion you're not missing anything. I'm not a thrill ride person but I gave it a shot while I was there for SWDS. The best I can describe it is brief flashes of dinosaurs in strobe lights while getting whiplash from being jerked around in the "car".

Yep, probably. Every day this week around 5:00 pm for me has been "oh well, maybe tomorrow." If nothing today, then we have to wait through the weekend.

Best part of the ride is Phylicia Rashad in the pre-show! Or seeing how bizarre you can look (sleeping/sheer 'terror'/funny pose) for the on-ride Photopass picture

Isn't it the same ride track as Indiana Jones at Disneyland? Because in that case, I've ridden that plenty growing up. At least that's not a bunch of strobe lights...

No gift card email yet for me. I did, however, just get an email that my FP+ for Dinosaur was changed to Primeval Whirl (a ride I hate). I guess Dino will be down? Changed it to Lion King instead.

Ugh, Primeval Whirl. Barf. I didn't even bother to FP Dinosaur this year. The last two times I've gone, it's been close to a walk-on. I also chose Lion King instead--have never actually managed to see that, incredibly. I was pretty disappointed that so many major rides are going to be down for maintenance while we are there--Big Thunder Mountain, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, now maybe Dinosaur. I know they have to do maintenance some time, it just stinks when it falls during your vacation.

I was able to look myself up on the tracking website...I did not claim myself yet because I can't get on with FB at work.

Aww. I claimed myself but no more back door bib number info. At least not yet.

Also, no gift card info either. Nothing in the junk file, and I get their emails regularly too.

Can't say I'm a big fan of that course map. Running through a whole lot of nothing for most of the half. Hopefully there's a lot of entertainment on the course because it looks like the only park we spend much time in is AK.
