Ugh! My AS9100 Audit is next week - blocking out the 45 minutes at lunch is a lot more difficult!

That was posted on the AP site I should add and literally like I had just checked it 2 minutes before and was the old dates.

DVC early registration page still shows Disneyland - expect that will change over the next few hours...

Well that sucks for those of us who made plans for months to have the 15th open. Looks like I'm probably out now. There's no way I'll be able to sign up on the 22nd.

Yeah, definitely guessing there's some sort of *announcement* they're making for this weekend, and they weren't ready for it - hence the delay.

They may want to update their regular website. :rolleyes2 Or Tweet the change. Or post it to Facebook. SOMETHING.

I sure hope they have something good to announce! I literally had everything worked out with work so I could be home to get us all registered. So now I'm rushing to try and switch things around so I can be home next Tuesday morning instead.

I've been following this thread for details on this race, which is the first runDisney event I've done in years. I'm not impressed so far. Is it usually this unorganized?

2016 has been a hot mess for RunDisney.

They changed the Costume Rules literally as people were already on their trips for Marathon Weekend. They changed the set up for Star Wars - Light Side with the corral system. Princess barely got any info until right before the races. Star Wars - Dark Side - we apparently are getting Photopass now instead of MarathonFoto and course maps haven't been announced.

I can't remember them ever delaying registration like this (though early registration used to be 2 weeks in advance, and now it's 1 week).

They HAVE posted race dates and then changed them, but this is pretty last-minute, even for them.

No, not usually. THis is the first time I've seen registration dates moved...waiting for them to update the official rundisney site is odd on dates and such. Prices were that day of Disneyland I think for early.

I'm just annoyed that I have to live with this uncertainty for another week! Will I get my husband and I registered or won't I?!

Paris Bib-only registration was delayed - was glad we booked earlier with the package to avoid...

True, but I think Paris is different - it's runDisney's first time doing an event in a different country. It seems like it's been a bit of a mess from the beginning.

So I'll amend my earlier statement: I can't remember them ever delaying registration like this (though early registration used to be 2 weeks in advance, and now it's 1 week) for a Florida or California race.

They HAVE posted race dates and then changed them, but this is pretty last-minute, even for them.

Apparently the Disneyland AP and DVC pages are not updated, neither is runDisney.com, and people on the phone are still being told it's tomorrow.

So...that's super.

I wasn't planning on doing the Wine and Dine this year (I did the half half last year lol) but if they add a 10K I might just have to go again. Following this thread to see what happens.

I am sad to say, that RD and their Wine & Dine consistently has the most ridiculous, unprepared, and disorganized registrations of anyone. For all the money they make, and their affiliation with Disney parks, you would think something would rub off on them?? Sadly, this is the only way we can have this running experience so we are forced to go along with all the confusion. Don't get me wrong, I love doing RD races. But, they are really starting to miss what makes Disney products special - the service. Anticipation and a rush to register is one thing, being completely unorganized like this the day before is another.

Ok, while we are killing time--question. When do people do the "Finish Line Party"? It looks like it starts before the actual race--so do people go hang out there first and then run, or run, and then go there? Also, is there typically a ChEAR package? As in, if my husband doesn't want to do the half, could he just meet me at the party, or hang out there until I get there?

Per the person I just spoke to at RunDisney, early registration for DVC is still tomorrow. (Well, she said "it is one week before General Registration, which is March 15 which would make early registration March 8") SOooooooo for whatever that is worth...
