Official Wine and Dine 2016 thread

Yeah that's way too time consuming, went through a couple hundred both ways based on darkside and give up or I'll go cross eyed :) I'll just be patient....

I probably don't want to admit how long I spent trying to find my bib number....

I found my husband's easily as he was near where we expected him to be - 204XX (based off of previous runs - I figured he would be between 20300 and 20700)

I found out bib numbers go up to around 27250 - I started looking backwards of myself as I always am in the bottom 25%ish

Not this time...I'm like 233XX

My bib number is why off from where I expected to be. For Princess I was 26616 out of 28129, Dark Side Challenge 2497X out of 26809, and Rebel Challenge 23920 out of 25126

Of course, I'm not allowed to actually run this race thanks to my awesome boot on the time I would likely have a decent corral.

How do you search numbers is there a certain spot on the site? Confused or is this only for the half/return runners

Okay, found myself, and if it's similar to Dark Side, I'll be in D. This is thoroughly exciting, as I've been at the back for my previous 2 rD races, so pictures! But... If I had been able to submit my time from last week's Army Ten Miler, I'd be in B. It's the thought that counts. :D

omg, I found my bib number! It took literally 5 seconds once I got on my computer and used the + at the end trick. I'm in the very beginning 23000s, so using the Dark Side Challenge corrals as a rough guide, I'll be around corral F (I was G last year).

Now to try and find my sister. :)

EDIT: I found my sister too! She's in the 23200s, so we could be in the same corral or I could be one ahead of her. Even though I'd want to end up splitting up on the course, if we're in different corrals I may offer to drop back and start with her so we can keep each other company while waiting.

Where do you find the corrals to compare to? I'm only doing the half, so I know those start at 5, and I turned in a 2:40 but I don't know what number to start looking at. Or I could just wait, but everyone else finding themselves makes me want to find mine too :)

I did a google search for Dark Side challenge corrals. Any google search for runDisney half marathon corrals would probably help.

My mom found me, apparently I'm not methodical enough. I gave her an idea of where to start & in not too long she found me. submitted a 2:06 and am 210##
3 weeks till 10k morning.....

I was at work last night, but a friend found me and I'm in the 234XXX. Based on Dark Side corrals this would put me in G. I was H for W&D last year and I for Glass Slipper so I am happy that my improved POT helped me. However, my running buddy is in the 26000 range, even though our POT are a minute off and we put the same finish time. It makes no sense. I don't relish running at the back of the back, but would drop back to run with her if she can't get hers adjusted.

And the 10K is the same as WDW/Princess. Which is funny since they just did that blog post about all of the thought/work that goes into designing the courses...not as much work when you just use the same one over and over, I guess.

Not going through World Showcase is a missed opportunity, for sure.

The most ironic thing to me was that this course followed the article on running in the parks. Besides DAK we won't have a lot of park running. Would have hurt to throw us a bone with WS? Hopefully there will be more course entertainment than during Princess because I thought that was lacking out on the highways.

Yep - it's the same ride track and vehicle, and Indy is better.

I like Indy so I guess that's why I thought I'd like Dinosaur, but doesn't sound like I've been missing much.

I found mine. It took a while. I'm 218XX. I used the same POT for Dark Side and I was 221XX for that challenge.

For reference my POT is 2:19 and I was in B/E for those races.

Also, I'm not sure if it means anything, but I found some gaps in the bib numbers. I'm wondering if those might be the end of each corral.

2027+
2055+
2080+
2135+

If that is the case, it would put me in E again, which would make sense.

Last night I looked again using the + trick and saw some names I recognized, but not mine. I jokingly thought "maybe someone else will find me and let me know."

That's exactly what happened - I had a message waiting this morning from a friend who found my number, and she's the number right after mine. Thanks for doing the work for me, friend! :)

You can also put say 21+ and your name and it will start to come up so you can narrow it down more, that's how we found my older brother.
Thank you!!

I started doing that to find my husband'S 10k bib. You can also do, say, 212+ or something to narrow it even further. Took less than a minute to find Mr. Ariel484. :)

I'm confused on how these numbers line up into corrals. For what it's worth I found my bib and its 46** and I am registered for the Half. POT of 2:50 and expected finish 2:40.
