@*DisneyDreamer yes I feel that newsletter was total click bait
Perfect word to describe it. It was totally pointless!@*DisneyDreamer yes I feel that newsletter was total click bait

Come on now. That's a bit harsh. For instance, I learned that people who pay a premium for a Disney race experience like to run through Disney parks! I would never have known, otherwise!![]()
I did notice that recently about the shirts. I highly doubt that some would be long sleeved and the challenge shirt would be short, so I'm sure they'll still be long sleeved like they have in the past since 2 of the 3 say that.Anybody else notice:
If you view the runDisney site on Microsoft Edge: under events: the Lumiere's Challenge and 10k links are broken
If you view using Explorer: the links work.
And... that the site says under Lumiere's Challenge:
Champion® Short-Sleeved Tech Shirt in Women's or Men's Cut for the Half Marathon, 10K and Challenge*
Under the 10k and 1/2 banners, the shirt is listed as Long-Sleeved, but under Lumiere's it is Short-Sleeved.![]()
You also learned about some fitness tracking device that is NOT a FitBit.Come on now. That's a bit harsh. For instance, I learned that people who pay a premium for a Disney race experience like to run through Disney parks! I would never have known, otherwise!![]()

Very true.
In other breaking news: sun to rise in the east tomorrow.

Must admit I found that whole email ODD. "Click here for no info", basically...You also learned about some fitness tracking device that is NOT a FitBit.![]()

Thanks for the info! I definitely missed the part about them mailing the gift cards. I just assumed we'd get them at packet pickup. Oops!
Last year, at W&D, they had 2 runDisney stores: one in each building. We did not attempt to shop at the one where you get your bib. Anybody know if in the past the merchandise is the same in both (I assume it is)? Thoughts on which one may be less chaotic?
I was just thinking I should try and find last year's thread for W&D, and see what the link was for the waivers. Then, we can try to reverse-engineer it. I think it was via the results page on Active?
I'm curious, approx. how far is the distance of one loop around World Showcase?

Yes please! Did anyone else get the Stride email from RunDisney today and for a brief moment think maybe we'd get some info?
Question about the expo strategy. I probably won't be able to get there until around 12:30 or 1:00 on Thursday. Should I go to the merchandise area first and then get my bib and shirt? My one dream must have item is an I DID IT shirt for the 10k. Thanks for any suggestions. My first 10k and first RD event.

Ha, that's more the measurement I'm used to......I had no idea how many miles or portion of it was. It's an 11 drink loop![]()
That'll work - thanks!I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but it works (however, there is no 2016 in the drop-down list yet):

IDK - this year's marathon course wasn't certified until, what - a week or two before?Somebody on the Wine and Dine Facebook group said they emailed RunDisney about the course and got a response that they're "still determining" it. Am I the only one who doesn't believe this? I'm hoping they're just saying that a response while the event guide is being put together, because it would be very concerning if you don't have a course finalized less than 4 weeks before an event.
I read this morning on FB that someone called rD and they said waivers this week??????????
