Wii Guitar Hero question here....

We just got it last Friday and it is a lot of fun! My DH has gotton to where he is battling Tom Morello and just can't get past him. After failing 3 times it comes to a screen that offers a chance to Wuss Out or Continue. Only problem is each time he gets there the whole game freezes, not allowing him to choose either option or do anything. It is very frustrating. Any idea on what we can do? I ordered this through Amazon.

This is the only place where the game freezes? I haven't heard of anyone having this problem.
Huh...that's strange. My best advice is that he has to beat Tom. If you can't beat Tom, there's no way he'll be able to beat the devil.

I think he needs to keep practicing. Maybe get online and do some battles against real people. Battles are so different from the regular game that I can see being good at one and not the other.

As for the freezing thing, I would call Red Octane. The number should be on the game's case somewhere. They'd be the best ones to help. Actually, I would probably call Nintendo too. Nintendo has such great customer service that they might be better at helping that even the game maker.

Call RO and see if they can help and if not, call Nintendo.

Does anyone know how much Wii Fit will cost at all? I had seen Toy's "R" US, you pay $5.00 down to pre-order it, but did not see a price for it. Thanks

Nintendo hasn't officially released that $90 price, but they did say it will be "under $100 with tax," so $90 has become the accepted cost.

Also someone posted earlier that Wii Fit comes out on April 25. That is the date for EUROPE. Ours doesn't get here until 5/20.

Been away for spring break so am trying to catch up.

Please report back what you find out as I have bought this for my son for his bday but we have another month before he gets it. I did buy an extended warranty from TRU that covers the guitar and the disc just in case especially since it was going to be a while before we even opened it.

My 2 kids are addicted to Super Smash Bros! They are playing this game every chance they get and really like this one.

I need to look into Wii Fit as it looks like I something I may actually want.

Rock Band for Wii will be released as a Special Edition bundle including the software, drums, microphone and a wireless guitar. Stand alone instruments will also be available on June 22nd for people who want to build their band one instrument at a time or want to play the drum versus drum game mode. The game will feature 63 songs including five bonus songs for Wii gamers to enjoy.

Ok excuse me for being clueless here as I've never played GH and only seen the demo in stores and have never seen Rock Band except in the box at stores, but does this mean that if you only wanted to play guitar you could, or if you only wanted to play the drums you could? Does drum versus drum mean you play drums against the game like you play guitar against the game?

In GH when you play a 2 player game are you only playing against each other. I'm sure this will all be clearer to me after my sons bday and I get to actually see (and maybe play) GH myself.

I just have to say that I am loving Raving Rabbids 2! Now I want to get my hands on the 1st one. DS and I had a ball last night whcking the kids who wouldn't be quiet in the car:lmao:

Carnival has a couple fun games but not as much fun overall as I had hoped.

I am thinking that ROckband might be something our family has to buy, too! This wii stuff sure is adding up!

Its gonnae be £69.00 here....thats near enough $140.00,jeez we are soooooo ripped off in the UK !!!

Yes, you can just play the guitar or the drums or just sing if you want to. I have a solo career with each type of instrument. It's kinda like GH + drums and a karaoke game all wrapped into one.

You don't play drum versus drum as far as I know unless you are battling over your internet connection. I actually haven't done that since we always seem to play it with friends or with Dh and I.

In Rock band you are playing WITH each other, not against.

My kids are used to the other version, I guess PS2...and they really don't like using the wiimotes. I heard you can disable them, but I have no clue how! Does anyone know what to do? Help!!!!

Wii Fit will be $90. DH and I already have pre-ordered and paid for ours in full at gamestop.

My dd15 also HATES the wiimotes...I'm not sure how to disable them...she does it every time she starts up the game before she begins playing...maybe options or preferences or settings or something like that? But it only takes her a second to do so once you find it, it's easy.

I haven't heard that you can, but I'm sure if you could it would be in the game settings.

Start up the game and using the wiimote look for an Options or Settings menu.

I'll do some research and see if I can find anything more concrete. I know A LOT of people don't like the wiimotes with DDR.

From another thread:

Good morning! I LOVE DDR!!! I do turn off the hands. It's very easy. When you get to the "wheel" where you are picking your song, there are also choices for "random" and "options." Choose "options" and the very first one is "hand motions." Click on it and then choose "player 1" and set to off.
