Can anyone tell me why this is rated T? My DS wants this for his 9th birthday, he saw a commercial for it and really likes MySims for his DS but I don't want to get something inappropriate. I'd appreciate any feedback.

BTW, if anyone is looking to buy it, Newegg has it for $36.xx plus $2.99 S&H, I thought that was pretty good.

We have it for the DS but not the Wii. The DS version is fine for kids. My DD8 plays it all the time. I haven't heard about the Wii version though. From the looks of it on IGN, there is more character interaction than in the DS version which means Harley is right about the making babies.

Dont we all!! Believe me, if we had a kid everytime DH and I kissed, OMG we would have over a million kids!!

That was early Sims though, I think in the new ones you get your sims to kiss and then hearts spring up every where and you suddenly have a baby. Wish that was how it worked!

ok so not wii related but we got a PS2 this friday so we can play all of the old guitar hero's....we are truly obsessed, bought the kramer guitar and GH2 so we just need to get GH and GH80's...lol......spent most of saturday unlocking medium (since easy doent get you encores) and the encore song wass the one we wanted to play....lol.............................cant wait for Gh Aerosmith..lol

We've had Guitar Hero 3 for a month now and can I just say how much we love it? DH is probably the best at it in our house. He's on the medium level. Me? I'm still in beginner, just beat Slash and working towards Lou.

But the funniest thing? My 5 year old. He is addicted! He is also in the medium level and today conquered 2 songs before my eyes. It blows me away how good he has gotton at this. My 2 girls (ages 8 and 10) have little to no interest, they tried it, didn't have the patience to keep at it and I don't think they have played since.

We can't WAIT for Rock Band!

I did preorder Wii Fit on Amazon too, that looks interesting and looking forward to receiving it!

Well it's almost time that we get to play GH3! My son's bday is in 2 days and that is what he's getting. I'm sure this will certainly disrupt things in the household as right now he plays his EA sports games on the GC while the other son plays the Wii (w/either a wii or GC game), so now they'll both be fighting (er I mean negotiating) to play the Wii. All he's asked for is this game and I bought it like 2 months ago on sale at TRU. I think he's also getting Mario Kart Wii from grandma.

I'm sure he is going to want the DS version of GH too, but maybe not he plays more on the tv than his DS. So he can save his gift certs he got and purchase Rock Band when that comes out, good thing he still has time left to earn some more money for it.

Well both my kids love GH3! One of the first questions was how many guitars did I get? I said since we didn't know if both would like it only one and that we'd wait until another version comes out to get another. So is 2 the max number of players? I could look that up and prob will but just thinking out loud.

My son also did get Mario Cart as I mentioned and they like that one too.

For those that have WiiFit, do you need to use the board on a hard flat surface? Can it be used on carpet?

I have read conflicting reports that the guitar included in the not yet released Rock Band won't work with GH3, can anyone provide more details?

I have read online that it can be used on carpet, but they recommend you at least get something hard underneath the board like a desk chair mat, because overtime the board will wear out faster if its on the carpet.
