Who here can actually use the official WDW site without having a problem with it? Yesterday I was trying to get rates for February 2008, and it kept switching me back to 7/29/07... :sad2:

The 2008 rates haven't been released yet. :(

Keep checking back throughout this month and August.

As the previous poster said, the 2008 rates aren't out yet. I've called just about every day since June 13, 2007 to find out when the 2008 rates would be released. Almost everyone has told me mid-August which would line up with the last two years. A couple of CMs have told me some time the first of July. One told me September.

I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for them to come out. I'm ready to book for next June.

Even though the 2008 rates are not out yet - it should give you a message - not just through you back to some date in July of this year.

There are tons of things on the Disney site that do not work - it is the worst website I've ever seen from a company as large as Disney -

ITA! The Disney site is the least user friendly site I have ever used - it is really hard to believe that is actually functions so poorly. I have never even once actually gotten it to do what I needed it to do. I don't even try anymore, I have all the WDW #'s on speed dial and have memorized most of the prompts. Almost all the CM's are very knowledable and friendly so it isn't so bad!

I love Disney - but they really need to get somebody to do a better job with their web site. Every time I go there it just frustrates me to no end.

If all I want to do is check the park hours, please don't make me sit through this graphics intensive flash animation while the screen loads. Also, please remember my preferences not to have the audio automatically come on. And once I set that option, remember it when I go to a different page in the site.

Also, have a simple menu somewhere on the first screen that comes up quickly and will allow me to go directly to some of the most used parts of the site. Then, take me there with no further interruption.

I'm typically at the Disney site for information, not entertainment.

I keep getting the "under maintenance" message! When in the world do they finish doing that?!? It's frustrating, and I guess, keeps the phones lines to CRO very busy...

I really think it's a terrible website. Disney should be embarrassed by it.

There is a link at the very bottom of the web page where you can complete a survey on the site. I took the time to do that at one point because the site is soooooooooooooo bad.

It's much easier to find detailed information on allearsnet.com than it is on Disney's own site.

This site is a disgrace!!! Every now and then I get the survey and I TRASH the thing. The recent "upgrades" made a bad situation worse. Half the time you can't even GET the WDW travel link to work... Yeah that's going to sell a lot of packages...:rotfl2:

I mean wouldn't it make sense for the SITE to tell the OP you couldn't book 08 instead of putting in an invalid date??? What a concept!

I have never gotten it to do when I needed either. Most recently, I clicked on the great resort rates icon yesterday and it went on to tell you me that the Mods were $104 for certain dates. I wrote those dates down and made sure that I plugged the applicable dates in and all the Disney site offered me was GF, WL and Port Orleans for $165???? GRRRR

I remember thinking the Disney site was the worst website every back in 2000! Well it STILL hasnt been fixed and that is what annoys me most.

...Not to mention that theirs is the LAST web-site to have updated info regarding anything related to Disney. (e.g. F&W fest info).:upsidedow

I can't even find the link to the survey on the site.

I did this survey a couple weeks ago - right after the (yeah right) UPGRADE.

This would be a great time for us to mount a campaign to tell them about how horrid the site is. - EVERYONE take the survey!

Go to disneyworld.com. At the bottom of the page you will see a link that says "site survey-tell us what you think".

That's what I was expecting, but there isn't any such link when I look. Thanks anyway.

I don't know what they're thinking at Corporate with that website. Did they deliberately design it and operate it so poorly so that you'll be frustrated and call CRO? Basic information should be easy to get. If they want to direct traffic to CRO, then a message could be posted that more discounts were available by calling CRO.

The website gives Disney a terrible image - especially for a company that should be on the cutting edge of entertainment, not falling off of it into a deep abyss of browser trouble!

Just decided to pop over and order my MNSSHP and MVMCP tickets. No luck. I can't log in and I can't register an account with my other email either. You can't check out without an account. I guess they don't want to sell me anything today? :confused3
