well I put my running on hold this week and will start my marathon training this weekend.
I put it on hold because we had a really bad storm come through the Chicago land area and our house didn't have power for 5 days and the durning those days the temps were in the 100's everyday so I said forget it. I was so excited to the lights come back on.
So now I will pick back up and start running again not that we have power again and can come back to a nice cold house again.

I am thinking about adding a entry in my blog with pics of all the down trees.

98 degrees and tomorrows trash day, so I was running around stinky trash bins. GAG!!
. Trying to not let it get me down. I think it was because I ran two half marathons over the winter and that forced me to slow my pace down quite a bit, so I never got back to running the pace I was doing last year.
. The heat has been pretty brutal, but my legs are more of an issue. My calves are so tight that it takes upwards of 3 miles of slow running and stopping to stretch to get them loose enough that I am not suffering anymore
