"Official" Unofficial Show Your Disney Side 24 Hour Party at Magic Kingdom.

There are no answers at this time. The news release should be today, but the information in the OP is all the information that has been confirmed at this time.

Well that will be why I feel so clueless then! I am sorry, I didn't mean to sound demanding - just going a bit Disney crazy here...

Quick question, in the past was it easy to get a bus in the middle of the night? My flight lands at 11:30pm Friday and I wanted to go to MK right after I check in. I'm wondering if I will be standing at the bus stop for a long time waiting for a bus.

We did the SWW and 24 hr event last year.
As far as busses. we drove and left the Pop at 5 am to get there. My husband saw a handful of people at the bus stop when we left but I don't believe they were picked up before 5:15 or 5:30 am.

We saw no busses on our way there or entering the gates.

I posted a few pics in another thread to show how non-existent Disney transportation was as we drove thru the MK.
I'll try to find the link.

Thanks for the response, Poison Ivy! I have now read through most of your Auto Train TR, since we travelled AT last year and are doing so again this year (summer trip) and I was curious about your experience. After having read that, now I want my DDs to think about the CP as it sounds like a great opportunity!

BTW, the WDW site now posts hours for MK on May 23rd as 6:00am - 5:59am. Yay!

I hope it's OK to post what I found on another site (Kenny's site); here's what he has as entertainment info so far for the 24-hour Rock Your Disney Side event (some or all of this might also now be on Disney's site -- I didn't compare, but even if it is, this is a nice, concise list):

Edited to remove the Entertainment listing from Kenny's site, as it now has a note about not posting the information to other forums. I swear that wasn't there when I initially included it here! So just look it up directly on his site, if you are interested. Sorry Kenny!!

1- Anybody know if they will offer FP+ all night long? Especially now since you can get extra FP+ at the kiosks once you've used your original three?

2- Also wondering what time they will start running buses from the resort to the MK on the morning of the 23rd. I'm pretty sure buses usually only start one hour before park opening, but I'm concerned there will be a long line to wait for buses that morning and it won't be enough time to get there for the Welcome Show, etc. Especially reading on here that people are planning to be at the GATE at 5:00am, I don't want to be getting on the BUS at 5:00am. We could drive, but planning on staying at MK the entire 24 hours and don't think we will feel like driving back to the resort after being awake that long. And don't want to leave the car in the MK parking lot because I've read it will be towed?!? What to do?? We really want to be there 6am-6am!!

They didn't tow our car last year. Probably because we were sleeping in it. ;)

I saw that there were rules posted about camping out at the gate/entrance of Disneyland. Should we expected that at MK, too? I hope not...I'm really hoping to get a full night of sleep at Pop Century, get on a bus about 5:00 and head over to MK. Anyone else think camping out is necessary at MK for the 24 hour party?

Is there any word on what's happening with the buses yet?
I so SO want to go to this, but I don't drive and I have my husband plus 5 kids with no car seats so if there's no bus then I can't go at all.

Got confirmation from a CM on the phone yesterday that the buses start at 5:15am at the resorts tomorrow morning.

Thanks! I just came online to say that my DH called the front desk at CSR who said 5am I think. I aim to be at the stop for 5 - so I'd better get some sleep now! Look our for the Incredibles t shirt with bright red hair if you wanna say hi to sundancer! ;)

We're about 20 minutes away and will probably be leaving around 3:30am-3:45am to head over there. Super excited! Staying most of the day and leaving sometime between 10pm-4am (my boyfriend hasn't decided yet) to go camp out for Warwick Davis @ DHS. It's going to be a long sleepless weekend...:)

Have a great time, everyone!
