I am not so sure how much of what we are seeing is the editing, or what is real.

Some have said that they think that there may be a real connection between Travis and Sarah, but that it has been edited out. I kind of disagree with that. I think that Sarah, who seems to be so wonderful and stable, has some real issues with her own identity and femininity. Did you all notice that horrid huge big cowel neck sweater that completely covered every inch of skin from head to toe that she wore on their fantasy date. It reminded me of that horrid thing that Meredith wore on the date with the guy she turned down when she was in love with Ian. Definately body-armor.... This is NOT something you wear when you are hoping to become closer to a guy!!!! Sarah always has this huge protective wall or shell around her.

OK so my mom works and lives in Nashville and apparently works with one of Sarah TN's neighbors, they are good friends...and while Sarah can not tell anyone anything (or be fined a million dollars apparently) my mom says people are saying they have been seen around town together, working out at the gym and at a dinner somewhere...

this is the gossip from down South!! Probably just gossip but it is what I heard


he has no lick of sense if he does not pick sarah...
has nothing to do with Moana...Sarah is just a genuine lady...IMO

I think his family is going to love Sarah and help him make a good choice but we shall see

Again I'm reminded of Trista and Charlie/Ryan. It really really really looked like Charlie was the clear winner (if you base it on how Trista reacted to each of them: Charlie she was cooing/Ryan she was shown as extremely quiet) - but looking at it now, it was edited so that we would see it that way. I remember distinctly feeling so sorry for Ryan that he was about to have his heart ripped out on National Television; and she ended up with Ryan after all. It seems too similar to me.

so you should show some skin to get closer? I think that makes Sarah that much more of a lady....there will be time in the bedroom for that I'm sure.

You're questioning her identity and femininity based on a cowel neck sweater? That's a pretty big stretch.

I hope The Bachelor choses Sarah too. I wasn't going to get sucked into watching the show this time around but that Travis is too cute!

If you click on where it says Bachelorette Photo Gallery it has pages of all the girls that look like pictures that were done in a studio. Is it just me or does it look like someone just threw a dress at them and said, ' Here, put this on!' Some of them are SO AWFUL!

I stand by my comments.
Goodness gracious, I never said that she had to present herself as some kind of hussy.

I based my comments on how I have seen Sarah throughout the show.
And, yes, I did notice that sweater???? Definite body armor.
I distinctly remember the exact same comments from posters here on the DIS when Meredith wore a similar sweater when she was with that other guy... not Ian. (Nobody got flamed for that)

Many people here, and even I think Travis himself, have noticed this about Sarah. Sure, he says that she is like a friend. But he is still questioning if there is any real 'connection' or 'spark'. He is still trying to get thru that 'wall'.

To be honest here, I think that I know the real reason why my comments are being flamed here. And, it has nothing to do with the show.

I don't think anyone was flaming you, and not sure what you mean by your last comment. But maybe Sarah is a bit more reserved and doesn't want to show alot of skin on national TV. That sweater may have been the first thing to go once the doors were closed.

I don't think the sweater was body armor....maybe's it her favorite sweater, maybe she has had many compliments on it and feels great in it, maybe it's her lucky sweater...who knows...but to say that she should have dressed more sleazy to get the guy, well, I guess that says it all in a nutshell.

I agree that I don't think you were being flamed - and hoonestly I loved the sweater!!! It was cold where they were and maybe she wanted to stay warm but not wear a gazillion layers

she also wears dresses at the rose ceremonies that are not covering everything -

I don't think her outfit had anthing to do with her sexuality - but more with her personality which to me appears to be casual and comfortable -

I was thinking the EXACT same thing!!! It really looked like poor Ryan had no chance and I was shocked when she did pick him..and thrilled. I sitll think Moana is a basketcase. Please pick Sarah!!

No, that is not a stretch at all. It does make sense!

I guess I am thinking that it is more than that. Has it not been mentioned before how she is 'slow' to develop any connections. And how it is always 'friends first'. etc... I guess I am thinking that this is really how she is. How she kind of completely suppresses the other side of the equation (spark, connection, etc.) I really think that there may be some valid concerns there.

I really don't know who Travis will pick!!!

I was telling Dh the other night that Moana appeals to him "below the belt" (had to clean that one up for the Dis ) and Sarah appeals to him above the belt. Dh says a man will pick the below the belt one nearly every time. I know he's hot to trot for Moana and I figure he'll pick her but I really think Sarah is a better choice for a life partner for him. Though I do admit I don't really see what the problem the other girls had with her was. Looks to me like she just chose to wait and see if anything developed rather than panting after a man she didn't even know.

Not a stretch at all. My sister is a teacher and was a Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleader. When it came time for their Underwear Calandar my sister would not put on some of the outfits "suggested" because of her students.

I like Sara but see NO chemistry. Moana don't really like. I don't see him w/ either one to tell you the truth.

Off topic a little bit, but I am cracking up here thinking about how the last time I saw the teacher my son had in Kindergarten, she was wearing a very short (almost mini) skirt and boots that came up to her knees. Showing an inch or two of thigh!!!! This was topped off with a big sweater. (I have to mention that she is of French heritage, and this was a very very French look indeed.)

I always look forward to the Tell All show. It is going to be a real hoot to see Allie G. !!!!

There's no way that the show is going to do anyone a favor and edit out any behavior that the person may not feel comfortable about, unless it works for the show not to include it. That's what the show, and the audience, thrives on. (Not ME, of course. ) If she's holding back on any behavior in front of the cameras, I wouldn't be surprised, and I wouldn't blame her at all. But I think it's just the way she is...not jumping into a relationship too quickly, and not trying to get the guy to win the game, but rather seeing if they truly like each other, get along, etc. Of course, at the point where they had the overnight...who knows.

Here's my take on the whole situation...I do not think Moana is genuine. I feel she is only doing this to make her father and stepmother upset. There are clearly "issues" involving the dynamics of that family.

Sarah is very aware that doing anything embarrassing on national TV will ruin her career as an elementary school teacher...she is already taking a huge chance by going on the show to start with. She is proceeding with caution because she knows that regardless of whether she gets picked or not, she will be returning to her "normal" life very quickly.

I can't wait for Travis' parents to meet the two women. They seem very "white bread" and would probably have a cow if they see that big 'ol honkin' tatoo on Moana's back. Should make for a very interesting episode.

All three went into the suite with Travis, but whether or not they actually spent the whole night with him, I haven't a clue.
