Official thread for The Bachelor

Am I the only one who liked Moana more after last night's show? I thought she was honest when the two girls questioned her. I thought the other girls were very catty and mean to her. It is like they forget the camera is there, recording your "beotchy" comments for all to see.

I was SO GLAD he said he finally felt a spark with the teacher from TN, yea! She seems so sweet :)

I like Susan too, but it was like she wasn't even on the episode at all!

Bye bye drunk girl (Tara). :wave2:

No. Regardless of my earlier post, I gained a lot of respect for her, for standing up for herself both times last night - especially with those two girls who'd been voted off.

I think the housemates feel justified in not liking her, but it bothers me to see someone ostracized. All of the girls need to remember that Travis will eventually see the show.

Now, if we only knew for sure whether Moana was being real or not...

I do like her a little more, but she still seems like she has some issues.

I'm glad the drunk girl is gone too. She seemed way too immature for him.

I think Moana has tons of issues....and I don't see any spark with Travis and the TN Sara. Also, I thought she looked shocked when he said you should go home...I don't think she took it in stride, she looked as though she was about to cry to me??

I guess what I meant by taking it in stride was that at first she seemed incredilous about it but then when he said and take me with you she thought it was pretty funny - they have a comfortable relationship - I think the other girls would have wigged out on him in that situation

I think that Moana is a combination of major, major, issues, and intelligence and strategy. In other words, she is flying by the seat of her pants, and is trying to use her issues in her favor. The only one more psycho than Moana was that Allie and her 'reproduction' thing!!! Bottom line, I do not see her as 'the one' for the batchelor.

Tara knew that she was out, and, aside from all the Tara bashing, she handled it very very well!!! The look on her face was not because she was one of the two sent home... It was after that, when he picked Moana to stay. And, then she did try to warn him about Moana.

I too see NO spark with Sarah TN. Now, it is possible that she really is the 'one', but the producers are having them act completely opposit. C'mon people, half of this is scripted... It is not just 'reality' TV.

And, about the Batchelor. Now that I have seen more of him, I can only say that he is no better than most men out there. The bloom is definately off the rose here. He is showing his true colors by his actions and the woman he has been choosing. Give me a show with a man who really is a catch instead of just an overgrown boy, and I would be happy to watch!!! ;)

I really haven't seen any spark between him and any of the woman. I think he is about as romantic as a rock. Always 'stiff'.

Okay, I am so for the kindergarten teacher from Nashville. She is the only one who seems real. I was for the crazy orange peel teeth girl because she was being herself, but now that she is gone.....

Oh, and I think I know who won... they have been spotted together. It may be a set-up, but i definitely think it may be true. Feel free to PM as I do not want to post an intentional spoiler to those who want no clue. :thumbsup2

I feel like I lost an episode somewhere. How did we get from 8 to 6 girls? Last week, there wasn't a rose ceremony? When and who did the two girls leave? I'm confused!

But, the redhead was really shocked last night! I didn't really like her anywhere. I like the Kindergarten teacher the best.

It sounds like you did what I did a few weeks ago. You watched the first hour and forgot to watch the second hour, maybe?

Was there no rose ceremony? Now you have me wondering... :lmao:

No, the only episode I know I missed was the first episode. That's when he went from 25 to 12 girls. I watched the next week, which had a two hour show. Then he went from 12 to 8 girls. Was that when he elimated the girl with the orange teeth thing? I can't remember what happened last week.I will go online and watch a recap.

Okay, I just read the recaps and I think I did miss the second hour last week because I don't remember him camping with anyone. I remember the other solo date, and the group date with him and Moana jumping on the jet ski, but I don' remember him camping, so I blew it. Oh well, we're down to four. The only one I like is the Kindergarten teacher and I'm pretty sure she'll be one of the last two. To add to the drama, Moana will probably be the other one.

Sara from TN has NEVER seemed concerned about not getting a rose - it really leads me to believe there is something we are not seeing. And when he joked with her last night that it was time to go home - she took it all in stride - I don't think he would have joked around with someone who he was not that comfortable with like that.

I also think they are very careful to edit so that you are happy with his decision. I don't think they would portray Moana so poorly if she was truly his choice.

I agree with you Kate -- its all in the editing. What we don't see is as important (and sometimes more important!) than what we do see! I think Sara from TN is going further based on what we don't see.

I think they are making the season shorter. They go too fast from 25 - 4 in only like 4 episodes? I think they don't want to spend the money like they did the first couple seasons. The dates are quite as extravaggant either. Come on yes it's Paris but go buy your own cheese and eat it for dinner. What happened to the days where they would get you your own restaurant , gown and jewels to wear?

See- I was wondering if they shortened the amount of episodes because viewership is down. If viewership is down, revenue is down. I think I like the shorter season - some of it was getting too dragged out. But this might be a little too short, I find that I'm having trouble remembering which Sara somebody is talking about (until they add in Pot sounding Sara or Sara TN). It should be interesting to see the episode where the girls tell all. It seems like there are many things that could be told.

I agree about the dates! Go buy some cheese and make your own supper??? In a foreign country where you do not even know how to speak the language?

Just personally, I would not have been comfortable, or very impressed with most of their dates.

I just loved the episode where they had the batchelor driving, in torrential rain, on backroads, completely lost, in a foreign country. :confused3

I for one have found most of this season to be b-o-r-i-n-g.
(With the obvious exception of Allie and her 'reproduction stage' :rotfl2:

I actually liked that date. It seemed more like a real date than some of the other crazy things they have done in the past.

Y'all are right - they are making the season shorter! I didn't even snap until someone brought it up. I guess I've been hanging with Sara too much. :smokin:

I know that after the last Bachelor, they were talking about not renewing the show, so maybe this was a way for ABC to agree to it?

Has anyone heard about the Bachelorette? I like that show too. Nothing beats watching a bunch of men, act like a bunch of women. :rotfl2:
