looks like the Official Storybook Race Program is now on online as well as final race instructions. does this mean we do not receive a race program in our expo bag?

You will still be able to pick one up at the expo. Disney always puts it up on line as well.

I think I'm getting a little nervous about going to Disney by myself, but I'm thinking about it as some much deserved "ME" time

I'm excited about my first solo trip, too (and a little nervous!).

Do you guys plan on bringing your own camera on course? Or just using the disposable in our goody bags?

I don't bring a camera on any race, but if I did I would bring my own.
That way I could look at them and only print the ones I want.
If you use the one given in the race pack you will not have that choice.

I am bringing my own camera. I want to be able to zoom and focus and take a bunch and not be limited to the 24 shots or so that usually comes with the disposables.

I brign my own. Disposables are way bulky. PLus, my own has a wrist tstrap adn carrying case for my fruel belt.

Thanks for the input on the cameras! I have a wrist strap and I think I might get a little pouch to clip on my belt.

Probably does-what time did you put as finishing time?-no need to answer-just if you put total at about 16 min mile then maybe large number or when did you register? Maybe later register then larger numbers? Perhaps is has to do with our Princess choice-I'll have to check the other thread that records bib # and Princess-can't remember who I chose. If Minnie had been an option I would have picked her.

**I just looked the other thread and I can't tell .... bib #s and time people put they will finish ... I see Amy (lolafrances) has the same finish time as me, but our #'s are way different-looks like we will have to wait and see.....

Hi, Joan! Thanks for your reply! I put 2:30 as my finishing time and I registered in mid-December. So who knows. I chose Cinderella but if Minnie had been an option I would have picked her, too!

Just did 11.5 in 2:46. I also found out I hate cold. Even 50 and windy and I can't take it. I did 7 miles outside, and 4.5 on the TM.

2 weeks from now I will be finishing up dinner at the Mouse House. I am already having a difficult time getting any work done, I wonder how many trips a year I can take take to races before by boss notices my productivity is WAY down? teeheehee

I'm staying off-site and trying to figure out how long it will take to get to the Epcot parking lot from the WDW entrance. With the traffic and road closures what is the best time to plan on heading into WDW? I appreciate the help.

Hello princesses---

I just got back from WDW for my birthday/valentine weekend and it was FREEZING cold. I hope it is a little warmer in 2 weeks but I still prefer the cold to the heat any day!

Anyway, I was shopping at World of Disney at Downtown Disney and I think I found the perfect tiara for the race. It is really small and lightweight. Best of all, it only cost 10.00. We got a 20% discount for being annual passholders so it was a little less. Anyway, if you are looking for a cheap tiara you may want to check out the one at Downtown Disney. It was located in the kids room (princess room) right by the BBB. I also noticed them in the kids section at the Emporium on Main Street.

Thanks so much for the tiara tip! Have been wondering how to get away with an inexpensive one in case I lose it halfway!
