Aw geesh, I just saw the post that another email was sent out today and I still didn't get it. I don't know what I have to do to get them to put me on the list - I have called and emailed so many times. Can someone post it for those of us that aren't STILL getting them.

Btw, 6 more inches & counting in NJ, on top of the 2ft we already have! We were just joking that it feels like Maine, not NJ! Where in Maine are you? We have a spot in Howland....

Should we start a separate thread for bib numbers/pace (time you think it will take you to finish.

Also, the WISH meet is at POR 4:30pm on Saturday, correct?? I want to update the FB WISH Princess group, thanks.

I got the email yesterday at 5:59pm, so they must send them out in waves or something.

Hello Everyone!

It's been way too long since I've been on the Boards. Life has just been nuts between the holidays, running, vacations, and preparing to move in April. Needless to say, my running is not where I wanted it to be a month before the race, but what can you do?

My 'coach'/trainer/running partner/neighbor, had a baby several months ago so my 'training' has gone out the window. The weather here has been terrible so I've done a lot of training on the treadmill. I've been doing a 8 min run/1 min walk combo, and it's been working well for me. I know I'm not the type to run, run, run for 13 miles so the run/walk combo is best for me!

So far, the longest I've gone is 7.5 miles outside, and that was doing 5 run/1 walk. I felt pretty good after that so I was very hopeful, but this past week the weather here has been cold and raining which doesn't allow for much running outside. Last week, while running on the treadmill, my knee started giving me a lot of problems (locking up) so I've been laying off the past few days and trying to run outside weather permitting.

Well, I will quit my rambling, but I just wanted to stop by and say hello! I do have to say that the WISH motto is keeping me going! At least I am signed up and I am going to run. Even if I walk more than I planned, I will still finish!

By the way, I may have missed it, but was there any discussion on here about WDW canceling the After Party? Not too sure how I feel about this. I wasn't planning to party the night away there, but I do think it was a bit misleading since we all assumed there would be an after party which would be included in the race registration!

You'll do great! I'm doing the walk/run program too and I figure as long as I finish and have that medal around my neck I'll be happy!

Just curious if there are any others out there that are doing the race alone and plan on doing a walk/run stradegy that would like to do the race together and support each other along the way? This is my first half so I'm nervous and the extra support would be great! Hubby and the kids are staying home so I'll be driving down to Orlando on Saturday morning. Does anyone plan on getting together before or after the race? Thanks!

This one is the WISH created group, the one I linked above is the general group. I didn't realize the WISH one existed! I thought it was just the general group that was mentioned earlier.

Did you download and print out your waiver? That should be ready, and the bib number is posted at the bottom of the waiver.
