I'm so sorry to hear about the mistake. I would be totally mad too! So, do you know if it was the TA mistake or Disney's? They should definitely get you an early seating...and if they do happen to put you on the waitlist...you should be #1 on there cuz it wasn't your fault!!! I hope you get early seating....crossing my fingers for you.

Hey Stimpy... Surely they will be able to get you a MAIN seating... The ship does not seem to be full by any means! (Somebody else here on our sailing just got an upgrade to a verandah!!!!!!!) Jeesh... Why can't somebody there at DCL just make a phone call? There is a computer worm, and suddenly nobody can do anything?????

We are on second seating... And, I think we will love that! But our son is a little older than yours. I COMPLETELY understand your distress, remembering how DS was at that age!!!!

Okay, where is MY upgrade!!!! LOL!!!!

Sorry about your trouble, Stimpy. Hopefully they can get it worked out soon, but if not you can always ask to change it on the first day.

Sorry to hear of your problems. But if things don't work out and you remain in the 2nd seating, don't let that ruin what could be a great vacation. Like you said yourself,things like this always happen to you. Just take it in stride and try to make the best of it.

Now you have several travelling companions that can help ease the pain. We're here for you. Vent now, so when you get on board, your troubles can go away.

Yeah!!! We got our docs today!! I am so excited. Ours came through the regular mail. We booked with All seasons.

I'm so sorry to hear about the late seating Stimpy. I am worried now, I have a two year old so I am trying to make sure mine is right but I haven't been able to find it yet. I am sure they will work it out.

Cathy, Did you find your dining confirmation? It should be on like the sixth card - The card titled Cruise Information... Surely you got early seating if you requested it!

Stimpy, I am hoping that they get yours straitened out ASAP!

Thanks for the support guys! We still haven't heard anything yet and I'm really upset. DH is ready to call up DCL and TA and start screaming! Before we even picked a cabin, we made sure we were confirmed for Main seating. DS's bedtime is about 8pm. Yes he will be up late on vacation, but he'll fall asleep at the table by 9pm. If he's had a really busy day, he falls asleep at dinner when we eat at 6!

Glad to hear everyone else is getting their docs (and they are right LOL) Hope yours come soon Jott3!

No docs here either, jordan. Phooey! Do you think it is too soon to call and bug the TA?

We have power in Indiana (obviously!).

Update: I gave in and called the TA. They received the docs on 8/13 in one of their offices (I think in Oklahoma). They have to send them to a different office so another person can review them and then they will send them to me. So if I am lucky I will get them sometime next week.

Wow, I am glad that at least you called and they were able to verify that your docs are on the way... I thought I have had a few complaints about my TA... But, I was the first to get docs! Go figure!

Sure hope they are able to get power back for the NorthEast, slowly but surely... looks just incredibly awful... Could you imagine!

Got upgraded too...booked a Cat 11...and now I have a Cat 9!

I did finally find our dining time. I didn't know that main meant early seating. Looks like we are o.k. Phew!!!

I'm surprised the sent the docs to your TA. We got ours directly from DCL.

OT, we were hit with the power outage last night. DH had to go into work early for the night (he's a police officer) We didn't get power back until 3:47am, I know this b/c every fire alarm in the house went on when the power turn on! We have 7 fire alarms in our house since we had a new house built last year and the building code requires 1 in each bedroom and 1 on each floor, including the basement. The 2 cats were going nuts all over the place, lights we forgot to turn off were blaring and my DS is SLEEPING through the whole thing! Funny but it makes me a little nervous if God-forbid we have a real fire in the house.

Anyhoo.....DS was fine with the power outage until he realized it included the TV and VCR! He couldn't watch his Disney World or DCL tape before bed!
