LOL!!! Love the bug-eyes!!!

Chubby-Jen, Stimpy, and all.... Hey, we don't have to be wine connessieurs... ( I know I am not! really, I swear! my nose is still firmly attached to my face!!! LOL!!! )

Really, I can't remember the last time had wine myself! I had just thought that idea sounded so neat when I read it... Sit out on Secret Deck 7 aft... heading out to sea, watching Freeport disappear into the distance... sipping some nice chilled wine, soda, whatever... I would bring a Lantana White, or maybe a Peach Blush... mmmmm!!! (and, some treats or goodies for the kids...)

The other thing that seems to work out for meeting to say hello, with everyones busy cruise iteneraries, is to meet before the Sailaway party, on deck 10. DH and I would sprint up there right after the lifeboat drill to snag a spot... Then we're all set to kick off the cruise.

No biggie.... I am just ready to enjoy my cruise! Only 40 days and 40 nights now!!!!

The wine tasting sounded like a really nice idea. I wish we could have participated, but we cram the suitcases and carry ons until the seams are busting as it is! No room for a bottle of wine.

I like the meeting before the sailaway party. This way we can put names to faces early in the cruise. The we can pick each other out at other places on the ship!

I just read that some people on the Sept. 18 sailing received their documents. Ours should be arriving pretty soon now!

Wow, just had to be the first to post that!

Also, at the Radisson at the Port... we just got an upgrade to one of their King Suites with jacuzzi!!! ( Now if DCL would just come thru with a verandah???? LOL!!! )

Yes, we did book thru a TA... Dreams Unlimited. So, I am soooo surprized to be the first to get our docs!!! Still says room 5520 (Secret Porthole Room) which we booked a full year in advance to snag... So we are thrilled ! But, I guess it couldn't hurt to be 'Wishing on a Star' for a verandah... Hey, I just got one upgrade!!!

I know that you will be flying in, arriving that afternoon with your Mom... But, if you do get the chance, do see if you can spot us on Deck 10 !

And, just to clarify... I know that I said Deck 10 on the PORT side... I am referring to the side of the ship that is OVERLOOKING the port... so we can watch it pull away. But, that would technically be the Starboard side in ship lingo!

Okay, now I know I have really confused everyone!

Even better, I can do it in shifts! My DS loves it when the UPS or FedEx trucks pull up. I can put him "on duty" watching for the trucks.

ChubbyJen, we never got an excursion booklet mailed to us either. We just got one in the folder our TA sent us. You can always check out the booklet online at http://disneycruise.com if you need to

Sounds like my DS!!! He came running over yelling, 'The UPS truck! The UPS man is here!

Chubbyjen, the booklet is EXACTLY the same as the info online! You have made your reservations for your excursions?????

Yeah...I have made reservations for all my excursions..and have received a letter confirmation. It's just that I was looking forward to getting a brochure as well. No biggie....just thought it'll be nice to get something in the mail regarding our cruise.

Now I can't wait to get my docs!!

Got our docs today! And they were wrong! We always seem to have that happen to us. We were confirmed for the main seating on all our paperwork. I looked over the paperwork and sure enough, they have us for second seating! I am not happy right now! I need to vent!

I tried to call TA, but got her machine, so I didn't leave a message and decided to call DCL myself

I tried to call the 1-800 # and the CM told me she couldn't do anything since we booked through TA. She tried to ask a supervisor if she could do anything, since I explained we have a 3 yr old. Answer was still no. I asked if we would have a problem getting main seating, she told me the TA would have to put us on a wait list! I'm furious right now! I specifically made sure we got main dining and it got screwed up. We're paying over $2000 for a 4 nite trip, the least they could do was get the information right.

I called and got TA on the phone, she's going to try and get it straighten out and call me back.

I was so excited when UPS drove up, now I'm upset and stressed. Sorry to vent to you guys, but DH is sleeping now (He works nights)

Update: TA just called back. The news is not making me feel any better. She talked to a DCL supervisor who said he couldn't do anything about it directly. He needed to get in contact with the dining manager on the Wonder. But because this computer "worm" affected their computers he couldn't send him an email until the computers were fixed. The TA and supervisor are supposed to both stay on top of this. TA said I should hear from her by the end of the week.

I don't know if I should laugh or scream at this point. Stuff like this always happens to us. When everything goes "right", we get nervous b/c we worry about what little detail we missed and what will go wrong.
