Can someone please tell me about the lime green mickey heads? From what I have been able to determine, it seems that DISers get the mickey head paint samples from Home Depot and do something with them to identify themselves as DISers to other DISers...... but what do you do with them?????????????

You just attach them onto your bag or your shirt, or whatever you want to do! You can write your DIS screenname on them if you want to, or just "DIS", anything you want. Some people laminate them, but you don't have to. It's all up to you, people do it all different ways.

I just found this thread, so cool. My mother and I are taking my dd and ds for ds's 4th bday.. We will be ther from March 17th thru the 26th... I reserved the hotel back in Sept, and just made our ADR's last night. I haven't been to disney world in 15 years, since I was 10 and my mom took me.

My ticker would say,"MommyP's gang is going back to where it all began for us. Four nights, four days at ASMu in 23 days!"

We'll be leaving on March 1st after DH gets home from work, we should be arriving at our resort around 7(ish). I requested Jazz Inn, and I added a "pretty please" for good measure. We are spending 3 full days in the parks and 1 3/4 full day. We check out on Monday, also have to drive home on Monday. So, it'll only be a 3/4 full day. I'm so excited! Our AP's expire mid March, so this is it for us. That is until I convince DH it's time for new ones....I'm betting it'll still be '07.

I'm planning on getting some Lime Green Mickeys this time. It's a first. I actually sat next to a lady with one last Dec. but I was too shy to start the conversation. So I didn't, but I'm going to get them this time. Put them on our window at the resort and on our stroller, or myself. Maybe.

I'm in count down mode. My son and I are doing a split stay, 3 ngts at All Star
Sports and then moving to Wilderness Lodge for 4 Ngts. We have stayed at the Polynesian for the last two years but I wanted to try a new resort. Although the pool is under contruction, I'm still excited about going to the Wilderness Lodge. I am planing on spending my 50th Birthday Watching the Fireworks on March 10th!!!! What could be better than that!!! I always have a lime green Mickey on my fanny pack. If you spot me please say hello.

I have previously joined this thread, but just wanted to say:

6 WEEKS FROM TOMORROW!!!!!!!

Considering it is currently 8 below in central WI, and schools were closed yesterday since wind chills were negative 30 and below, I am BESIDE myself and going a little stir crazy. I have already washed and packed my 6 yr old DD stuff for the trip(little use for shorts & tank tops in this weather! ) and plan on working on my 9 yr old DS stuff next.

Yes, I need therapy(that or a full-time job!! Shh, don't tell my DH! )
