Official Thread for March 2007

disneymomof5:

Should I be looking for a group of 6 or 7? We will be a group of 26!!! :cool1:

Tim/Hawk

Wow. will all of you fit in the piano bar? We will be a group of 7 but we plan on getting away, just the two of us(Dh and I) a couple of nights. We plan on meeting up with Bill from PA. Hopefully we'll see you guys there!:goodvibes

DH & I will be there (sans children) March 3-10. We're staying at the Contemporary since he'll be at a seminar for work the 5-7 (Mon - Wed). I'll pretty much be by myself during the day those 3 days... anyone wanna tag-along at the parks?! LOL I have nothing planned at all Mon 3/5, Tues 3/6 I have a spa appt for a pedicure at 9:30 and that's it. Wed 3/7 I'll be on the keys to the Kingdom Tour at 9:30 (we just booked everything this morning!)

We're going 3/2-3/10, my son's 5th b-day is 3/8. First family trip, we have a dd 2 also. We are staying at Pop and going to the pirate & princess party on 3/8.

My 2 teen boys and I will be at POP 3/10- 3/17 for spring break. Un disney Dad is staying home.

we'll be there March 18-22. Our little princess5 has NO IDEA she's going until we get on the ME bus at the airport !!! It has been really hard keeping it from her. My husband and I have resorted to calling the MK "the city" and using our own language if she's around. We took her last year and she brings up going back as aften as possible.

Can't wait, and it looks like a LOT of Spring Breaks are in April this year.

We'll be there from March 17-23, staying at the Poly. 4th family trip, but our first time at the Poly. CAN'T WAIT !!:yay: :yay:

We'll be at POR March 10th to 17th. I thought about keeping it a secret, but just couldn't do it....I think my ds's would catch on with all the Disney surfing that I'm doing...I'm glad to see other people are driving their family crazy with all their planning too!!! I had the ADR's booked, but just did a couple changes today....hopefully I'm done with those....hurry up March!!!

My family just thinks I am nuts anyway as I am always surfing the boards and the looking for travel deals. My DS4 continues to ask to go back to disney. I just say maybe over the summer when all our schedules are calmer. So, I think they will be overjoyed when they wake up early am to board a plane to disney that same day.:yay: :yay:

March 1-7!!! POFQ, I am trying to reserve spastic celebration until it is officially paid off.:hyper:

Thanks Disfan3. I can't wait to be at the Poly. The peak rate was sickening to me, so I have tried not to think about it. Since the AP discount came out, we have decided to upgrade to one AP. It will save us about $700, so I feel a little better about a $318/night as oppossed to $449/night.

I am a teacher also, so I will definitely be ready for spring break. Then, as you know, when you return, it will just be a few weeks until the long Easter weekend; then after that, it's all downhill for us:thumbsup2

We have just planned a trip March 1-7. We returned from a trip last Sept. & never anticipated going this soon but I am so excited! My dad is turning 60 & commented that he would like to see his grandkids in Disney. That was all I needed to hear!!! Can anyone give me ideas about the weather? It sounds like we'll have to be prepared for anything!

We are headed there at the same time! Last year the weather was fabulous. shorts during the day, and a sweatshirt in the evenings. Perfect. Hopefully the crowds are low as well.

Good luck!

we are a family of 5 (three boys 11,13,16) this is our fifth year in row going to disney. The previous four we've stayed at P.O Riverside. we really want to try staying some where different. Any comments on Grosvenor Resort.

Just so you know that March 2-4 is EPSN weekend at Disney so the crowds might be a little larger than would be expected at this time. I've asked a couple of times about the crowd level at the ESPN weekend without luck. I'm hoping it's not too crazy! Excited to see different Sport people! :)
