I will be using this thread as the official place to post all of the information about our upcoming event in Disneyland. As I confirm details with Disney I will make sure they get posted here. Please keep checking back for more information as it develops.

Please do not write to me with questions just yet. As I said all details will be posted on this thread as they are finalized.

DIS/Dreams Event - Disneyland Resort in California

08/04/2023 - Evening Event inside a Disney Theme Park - location, time and cost TBA
08/05/2023 - DIS Unplugged Live Podcast - location and time TBA. Included with Event admission
08/04 thru 08/06/2023 - Various meet and greets with Podcast Team Members. Locations and times TBA. Included with Event admission

How to get tickets to this event (Admission will be limited to 800 attendees):

1. If you are booked on our 07/30 - 08/04/2023 Disneyland Backstage Magic Adventures by Disney trip you will be given complimentary tickets to the event and podcast. Make sure you have a post night or two booked. Contact Kevin if you are unsure or need to add them.
2. If you book a 2-night Disneyland resort reservation with Dreams Unlimited Travel you will be have priority access to purchase tickets to the event before the general public. We will be contracting for a room block for the event dates. DO NOT ASK YOUR DREAMS AGENT FOR A QUOTE NOW. We are waiting on the room block contract with Disney and once that is finalized we will announce how to book these.
3. Tickets will go on sale to the general public a few months after we start selling the room block.

08/04/2023 - Evening Event - California Adventure / Pixar Gardens and Pixar Pier

We will kick-off the evening with a reception in Pixar Gardens followed by a private party where we will take over all of Pixar Pier!!!!

8:30PM - Guests will be escorted from Park Main Entrance to Pixar Gardens. Further instructions and specifics TBA. If you're planning on being in the park prior to our event we will provide further instructions on what to do closer to the event.
9:00PM - 11:30PM - Private Reception in Pixar Gardens. There will be food, beverages and exciting guests!!!
11:30PM - 1:00AM - Private Pixar Pier Party

Enjoy Unlimited Rides on the following attractions:

• Incredicoaster

• Toy Story Midway Mania

• Pixar Pal-A-Round

• Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind

• Jessie's Critter Carousel

• Silly Symphony Swings

In addition, the Games of the Boardwalk will be open - Step right up and test your skills with midway fun. Free play with no prizes.

08/05/2023 - Live Podcast - Disney's Grand Californian Resort & Spa

UPDATE 05/07/2023 - Event Ticket Sales Update

I'm sure you all are anxious to get your tickets purchased for the event. We still have some details to work on and as soon as we have everything ironed out we will let you know; but here is what I can tell you as of right now:

1. We are not ready to open-up ticket sales just yet. As soon as we are your agent will let you know, we will post on the DISBoards and announce on the DISUnplugged Podcast
2. We are still working on pricing for tickets to the event – once we have all the details worked out, we will also announce the cost – we are shooting to keep it at or under $125 per person
3. Guests booked on our Disneyland Backstage Magic Group July 30 – 08/04/2023 will receive complimentary tickets to the event and be among the first to book additional tickets if desired.
4. Guests with a 2-night Disneyland resort reservation booked with Dreams Unlimited Travel for the event dates will receive priority access to purchase tickets and will be notified by their agent when available. These two nights DO NOT have to booked in our room block (see below) they can be at any Disneyland resort or Good Neighbor hotel as long as it is booked through Dreams Unlimited Travel.
5. Tickets will be non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased.

UPDATE 05/07/2023 - How to Book a Room for DIS/DREAMS Event

Please accept my sincerest apologies for how long it has taken me to get you this information. We have just 'buttoned-up' the room block with Disney and finalized our process and we are ready to move forward with booking these rooms for those who want them.

For those interested in booking a room in our room block please reach out to your Dreams Unlimited Travel agent. If you do not have a dedicated Dreams Agent please feel free to email me and I will forward your request to one of our agents familiar with how to book these rooms - john@dreamsunlimitedtravel.com

Here is some additional information to help you make a plan:

1. We have rooms held at both the Disney's Grand Californian Hotel® & Spa and Disneyland® Hotel
2. The room nights we have held are 08/03 – 08/06/23
3. Rooms may be available at the group rate before 8/3 and after 8/6 as long as groups department allows – these could go away at any time so make sure your agent knows if you want to extend your nights either before or after the weekend and they will quote accordingly.
4. Pricing:
   1. Disney's Grand Californian Hotel® & Spa = $585.00 per night plus 2% ATID Assessment Fee and 15% Occupancy Tax or $684.45 total per night
   2. Disneyland® Hotel = $440.00 per night plus 2% ATID Assessment Fee and 15% Occupancy Tax or $514.80 total per night
   3. There are a limited number of rooms at these prices at both hotels so please act fast.

It's my goal to get tickets sales started in the next week or two so please get your room secured now so you are ready when they become available.

As soon as I saw John on the show today I knew info was coming…soon! Lol! I was coincidentally already booked for my very first DL trip for this same weekend with a military rate! So even though I was unable to book with Dreams Unlimited for the hotel I have my fingers crossed I’ll be able to get two tickets!

Same with us. Prior to this event ever being mentioned, we happened to have our first ever trip to DL booked Aug 1-5 (and getting a on a cruise to Mexican Riviera from Long Beach on the 5th). We were booked at Disneyland Hotel, but couldn't get the group rate there for our date, but were able to get Grand Californian at the group rate for almost $500 less than our Disneyland Hotel reservation was.

I'm bummed that I'm going to miss this event, but my daughter, Kelly, and her boyfriend, Jeremy, are going, and booked a room at the Disneyland Hotel through Dreams Unlimited Travel.
