Just a comment....but after the show airs I don't think we need to hide anything in white anymore.....if you haven't watched the show yet don't open the thread. Just a suggestion

I agree. I didn't get to watch it until this morning, but I also knew better then to come on here and read the Lost and Survivor threads. Also, CBS now does not show who got voted off on their home page. I'm glad about that because now I can watch the show before I know who's voted off.

Just wanted to share another thought...

If Chet had stayed to vote with them for Ozzy and then quit, then the team would have been down by 2 people instead of just 1. (And really, maybe Ozzy should count as more than one person in that scenario, given how well he usually does in the challenges ).

I agree. Remember that swimming challenge when you had to get your coconut to the end and then up on the platform? He got all of them to the end so the others just had to go under and grab it.

Plus how would they eat if he was gone? None of them can catch fish or climb tree's like he does?


Did you see the previews for next week? It shows the other tribe not eating well even after those guys came and showed them how to do a lot of stuff.

The Malakal's would be absolutely STUPID if they got ride of Ozzy! They need Aquaman to win challenges.

Thank God Chet's whiney useless butt is gone. Poor Jonathan. DH actually got choked up! He was our favorite and we hoped he would win.

I agree - they'd seriously be up a creek without a paddle if they'd gotten rid of Ozzy. But then again, they don't seem to be making very smart choices when voting people off this season.

I agree with what everyone is saying about voting out Ozzy. They would be totally sunk without him.

And Erik's comment about it being the craziest vote ever if they did pull it off...what, nobody has ever been blindsighted on this show before?!?!? I know I've already said this about a million times, but the fans are totally annoying. I really wish they wouldn't have switched tribes...it would've been interesting to see if the fans could win again because they were in pretty bad shape...

I think they just wanted to see if he really did in fact have the idol. I was saying to myself I hope he plays it and not go home like James with two.

Then Ozzy didn't even have one vote. The Erik thing was confusing until someone said it might be to throw the favs off.

Can't wait until the other guy brings out the fake idol either....

I wish Tracy would get voted off...but she is playing the game well. She got them to keep Chet this long.

I don't think you screwed up. I set my DVR at the begining of the season to tape all first run episodes. Well I get home at 8:10 a few weeks ago and its not taping. Again last week I was going to be late ( DS gets out of CCD at 8) so I check in the afternoon its not red(thats the was it looks on the menu if its taping). again I set it to tape and off I go. Last night at dinner I checked and its not going to tape, this week I said to tape all episodes. I think it may be the way its listed on the guide or something. All I know is I have to physically set it to tape on Thursday or it just don't do it.

I have a season pass on Tivo for Survivor and mine taped just fine. I don't think it's the way it's listed in the guide. Hmm I wonder why you guys are having trouble

I wish I knew why - its annoying to not know why. My poor DH thinks he's done something wrong and I keep telling him he didn't!

i'm having the same problem with the taping on my dvr(cablevision - gotta love them dont you) for the past 3 weeks. the first week i assumed(shouldnt have should I) it was taping and didnt realize it till the next day. thankfully i was able to watch it on the internet but unfortunetely i kept forgetting that i have to check up on it so now i have to remind myself to manually record it. next week its on on wednesday due to the basketball. lets see if the dvr picks up on it. what a good night that will be back to back survivor and big brother woo hoo....

Used to have Cablevision until we moved upstate! Time Warner has the same troubles...

That sucks!

When we had direct tv our dvr used to do that sometimes too even though the program was set to record the dvr was just sitting there, not recording

I'm sorry Jonathon is gone - its one thing to be gone because you've screwed up or something but this time Jonathon had done nothing wrong. I was really rooting for him! I'm still impressed with Ozzy though. But you have to watch out for the people that aren't getting a lot of camera time right now. They seem to be the ones that go under the radar of the editing team (or on purpose, who knows?) and end up going to the end.

I'm glad that Chet is gone...it seems to me like he shouldn't have been on the show in the first place. Perhaps he overestimated his abilities. He just didn't do anything beneficial for his tribe.
I was still hoping he'd man-up enough to help out his alliance, even though I didn't really want Ozzy gone. At the end I was surprised that Ozzy didn't even get 1 vote. The two votes for Erik confused me, though what others here have said about trying to throw the favorites off the track makes sense. The editing for this episode was great, like others have said.

I felt really bad for Jonathan! I almost choked up. However, he made the right decision to leave. Kathy's "But the tribe needs you! I need you!" made me cringe. It's like she didn't realize that he really needed to leave.

I can't believe that Jason thinks that stick is the hidden immunity idol! The other hidden immunity idols are usally more elaborate than a stick with a smily face carved on it. Didn't he see the season where Yau Man made a fake immunity idol? These "fans" are supposed to know the ins and outs of this show, I thought. Little does he know that Ozzy really does have the hidden immunity idol.

I don't really like the "fans," but I'm enjoying the season so far!

I was too. They made it look in the previews like Kathy was cracking this week, I wonder if she asks to go home.

I was surprised, too. Maybe they'll have an episode where they don't vote anyone off later on.
