I was surprised that when Jeff came to talk to Kathy, he didn't mention to her the fact that she STILL would not be able to contact her family until the conclusion of the show. She might be in more comfortable surroundings, but it is my understanding that the entire cast of Survivors is essentially sequestered for the whole 31 days.

Perhaps he did mention that and we just didn't see it on the program. I would have thought that the fact that she was still incommunicado might have convinced her to hang around for a bit longer.

Maybe I missed this discussion here, but I looked and didn't see anything about it. I could just be just overly hopeful, but did anyone else kind of hope that Jonathan had had a miraculously quick recovery and that they'd bring him back in to take Kathy's place? I guess his injury was too serious and it was too soon for him to come back at that point. But I still kept hoping there at the end that Jeff would surprise everyone and that Jonathan would walk back in.

The jury has seperate accomodations, but the entire cast is sequestered. They are not allowed to tell family members how they did, until the show they got voted off airs. So, if they went home after each tribal, the families would know how far they got.

I remember seeing an interview with Chris (Season 6?) and his wife was going crazy each week, because he would kind of hint that it was his night to get voted off, but then he didn't. She had no idea he made it to the fianl 4 until she saw it on the show.

I would have loved to see Jonathan come back as well. He was really playing the game well. I don't care for any of the fans this season, but haven't decided which favorite I prefer to win! It has definitely been an interesting season.

Wasn't there a season when people who were voted off competed to come back in the game and they won?

There was one season, where they did come back... that lady in her boy scout uniform.

anyhow, they make the rules, if they want to let Jonathan come back, then he can.

It would be nice to see Jonathan come back, but I don't think he's going to. No one who has left the game due to sickness/injury has come back yet.

I think this season should be as long as other seasons have been, even though they've lost 2 people without voting them off. They started the season with 20 people, rather than 16 or 18 like they usually do.

I also hope Erik doesn't leave. I don't really like any of the other fans. They aren't very interesting. I hope Cirie doesn't win, but I think she's funny in her interviews, so I hope she sticks around a little longer. I was hoping that Ami's plan to vote off Ozzie would have worked; it seemed like they were really going to pull it off.

Is Survivor on this week? Last week they moved it to Wednesday because of basketball, but I didn't see it in the tv listings for this week at all.
