Official Star Wars Weekends 2014 Tips and Tricks

Yeah, there is no way they could handle the autograph crowds, but you KNOW he'll be doing Stars of the Saga. OMG, I really, really, really hope they offer FP+ for these shows.

Me too, if not it's going to have to be, get to DHS when they open and go make the line for Stars of the Saga

I actually hope they don't. Waiting in line is a rite of passage for Star Wars fans. We know how to do it right!

I just asked Gary from the Disney parks blog and he said he's not signing autographs....I don't think they could deal with the massive amounts of people camping out for days....

I can only imagine.. but wow! And man! Do I have to find a way to attend this weekend too!?

UGH. That's so lame. Carrie signed autographs, didn't she?

Oh well. I guess this means I don't have to make any decisions now! Haha.

It is very lame. What's the point of him attending if not to interact with the guests?

When Carrie came it was a much smaller event
Oh damn  he's gonna be there the weekend after I am!!!!!:sad::sad::sad::sad::sad::sad::sad::sad:
You have an excellent excuse to book another trip

The fact that it's this huge star makes me think they won't do FP+ for the shows
Hmm, if I could sell the swag for $250 then I'd buy a ticket just to go poke around.
There's a thought, I bet a lot of people will sell the items

Yes!!

He really isn't that great at interacting with guests! We met him and Celebration VI and it was really disappointing.... But he will draw a huge crowd for sure!

I've seen his panels at Celebration V and Celebration VI, and he is a great guest. James Arnold Taylor is going to have his work cut out for him reeling Mark in. That man loves to talk.

I'm wondering if they'll have a special show just for him...I hope so, I bet his stories could last all day.

I haven't met Mark personally yet, but I have attended a number of conventions. That actually happens a lot, that a guest is doing great panels and is highly entertaining on stage, but the personal interactions during autograph sessions is... somewhat lacking.

Sounds like he'll have his own show too. From Disney blog, "Fans can see him in the daily “Legends of the Force” Star Wars-themed motorcade and in a featured talk show." Color and size, my emphasis of a special show for him!

I just went back to the blog and someone asked if he would be signing autographs, and here's Garys response:
Thanks for writing. He will not be participating in autograph sessions. Instead, we have created some experiences with Mark that will allow more guests to see and hear from him during his time in Weekend IV.

Yes, I saw that last night. When I told my husband, he was disappointed. Though with the chaos him signing autographs at SWW would cause, it would probably be less hassle to pay the $100 at a Star Wars Celebration.

I'm glad Disney is already thinking about the volume of his fans.

A separate show for Mark would be great. Yes, he can definitely tell stories for an hour without getting tired. Especially with James as the host. (His interview with Mark at Celebration VI was great.) Mark also did his soliloquy for Batman in the Joker voice...it was fantastic.

You can save money on lodging and do a Linda Skywalker....stay in the park all day and night, camping out the entire weekend :lovestruc
Just thought of her and how excited she must be

Omg those SW weekends figurines are now $800 on ebay! How comes they are able to sell them ahead of time? How did they get them? Any ideas how much they are going to be in the parks?
