I've been following this thread for a few weeks and found it very informative, so thanks everyone for that.

I had one question I'm still unclear on. For the characters that meet inside Darth's Mall, do you have to get into the Mall first before waiting in their line? Would that mean you'd have to wait in two lines, one for Darth's mall and then one for the characters? We'll be there the first weekend and wanted to meet some of the popular characters near opening, but heard the mall can also have a big wait then.

If you can avoid going to Darth's Mall in the morning on the first Friday you should. In the old tent they used to have a separate entrance to get to the characters, in this new location I'm not sure how that would work...so to clarify, last year you didn't need to make 2 lines, just the one for the characters that were rotating

I'm not quite as grateful for a system that requires advanced planning but does not provide all information or options in advance...
I keep alternating between: so excited for my first SWW , worried that I have not planned the ultimate family vacation as is expected of Mom , and anxious that yet another wrench will be tossed into the plan when a new announcement is made and I'll have to juggle the sudoku-esque ADRs, FP+s, events... yet again!
I need to accept that we can't do everything that we want to do, enjoy what we can, and just remain as chill as possible in the heat and crowds. ...I think...

Couldn't have put that better myself....don't let things that you can't control ruin your mood and your vacation.

This is a fantastic tip. I too have a Sci Fi Reservation I cannot get moved to an earlier time. Thanks so much for suggesting it!

If we decide to stand on the AIE steps as Kenny suggests, would we have to cross the road from Sci Fi to get there? ( Sci Fi is across from AIE, right?) Will the CMs allow us to cross the road or will they not allow that as they sometimes do during a parade? Is there another way to get around and over to AIE and stand on the steps as Kenny suggests?

From Sci Fi you can walk up Commisary Lane (ABC Commisary) toward the Hat and that'll put you in that corner of the AIE steps

Is anyone else having trouble getting on the "Feel the Force" page?

I have one FTF for June 6, but I am hoping to get another- and I check regularly for a cancellation, but for the past few hours all I get is Stitch saying "Someone ate the page"

Is it just me?

On the Restaurant Board, a CM is stating the breakfast lasts approximately 70 minutes. And, the parade is at 11:30 this year.

Yep, I cancelled my 10:45 Breakfast for the Feel the Force Pkg.

For the autograph sessions with the stars do they have Photopass Photographers there? How about for the other characters that you find here and there (that you don't have to get a FP to visit)?

Thinking of getting the Memory Maker or Photopass CD.

no photopass with celebrity.

There is photopass at MOST character locations if the character has a "spot" but not if the character is "roaming" but sometimes there is a random photopass photographer you *might* get. Here I am talking about wondering clones (not rex or cody, they have a spot), storm troopers, tuskan raiders, jawas, gamaroean guard, aura sing, zam wesell.

I agree with Yulilin, be flexible and be your happy go luck self, don't ruin your vacation or your families by getting frustrated with the system (when Mommy an't happy nobody happy. Being a Mom of three (now grown out on their own sons) I know this first hand)... You are going to be in the happiest place on earth, if you are having problems during your vacation be sure to vent here, or ask for help. I love the DISBoard App, and I used it while in lines to check for latest details as well as post reports myself

there are no alternate times because it's only one show and one time you can get...did you try getting it and don't try changing the times?

For that weekend, Saturday is the only day day I see it available. I click on the circle to select, and then a box pops up where the time usually is "Arrive Between, ! There are no alternative times currently available. I am thinking it may be full?

I was able to get the fast pass buy selecting the "Select or Replace" option rathe than the "change" option. This is taking a lot more planning than the last three years did. LOL

First : are you doing it from a computer or the app?
Second: do you already have something booked under Tier 1? If you do press: replace or select don't try to change experience

We have a FTF package booked for 5/17 but now DF's work plan doesn't allow us to fly out on 5/16. We'll be arriving MCO around 10am on 5/17 so I think the earliest we'll get to HS is 12noon. This means we'll miss the parade I kept the ressie for now since we want a good view and less crowded space while watching the fireworks.

Do these FP+ look reasonable if we arrive at 12noon?
- 12:30-1:30 ST
- 1:55 - 2:55 RnRC
- 2:55 - 3:55 ToT

What are our chances of getting a 4th FP for TSM after our last FP at 2:55pm?

TIA for any advice! We are complete newbies to SWW!
