So how will Warrick having a 1:30 autograph session and a 1:45 show on Sunday work? I don't see how that is possible?? I HOPE they don't cut it to one autograph session, becuase I just don't think we will make it.

Good catch. Same for Friday/Saturday. How can he have a 4:30 autograph and a 5pm show?

It was a typo on the HUB...I found that on Sunday Davis's autograph sessions will be at 9:45am and 2:30pm, still cutting it close to Stars of the Saga so probably no standby's for the second session.
on Friday and Saturday his autograph sessions are at: 9:45am and 1:30pm with his show at 5pm...

I'll fix and double check my previous posts, thanks guys

Quick question. I saw someone on here say something (I believe) about a stormtrooper magic shot this year. Is that true, or did I misunderstand it? If its true, does anyone know what the shot entails and where to get it?

Yup, it's cool but I don't want to spoil it for you. You can do it just outside Darth's Mall and at the same time there's a Vader one also. Both look great!

Thanks!

I still think Warwick Davis fp will be the first to go since he only has 2 sessions and the others have 3.

Which is great news! Sam Witmer and Tim Rose have 3 sessions each! That will help!

Yes, I'm still on unsure if I'm going Friday or Saturday for Rose's autograph...I'm leaning toward Friday and going alone (my daughter is against this plan :) ) but on Saturday my son has his SAT's at 7:45am and I can't find anyone to take him...so it's looking like early Friday for me and then on Saturday we'll go after his test.

OK, this is something different, I'll have to check it out :)

Maybe I will get to get my picture taken with Sam Witwer. I've met him several times, and have pictures with all his Being Human costars, but not with him :)

Primary targets for the family are Ashley and Warwick though...interested in knowing how early on Saturday we should get in Warwick's line...

On the way to darth mall outside the roller coaster. This time they have a nice back drop, and yes, 2 different magic shots. Pretty Kewl.

Just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone who posted here about SWW. My son and I got back late last night and had a blast. We focused on characters, parade, shopping at Darth's Maul and riding TSMM and Star Tours and not much else. He is 6 so he's very much a believer...doesn't really grasp the actor concept yet. Also didn't do the shows which made things go quicker. We went Friday and Sunday.

Friday was hot and humid. We didn't stay too late because he had been up late and I wanted to have some pool time and get to bed early so we could go to MK at 3am. We were able to meet Leia Minnie, Darth Goofy and ST Donald, Vader, Maul, Fetts, Stormtrooper, Tusken Raider and R2/C3PO plus ride TSMM 3x and Star Tours 2x. Also watched the parade...got there at 10 to get a mostly shady spot. Had to make an early trip to Darth's Mall for an autograph book since they are sold out everywhere else. So we were there twice for shopping that day.

Wish the autograph books had a few more pages. We ran out of pages before characters...and we skipped the Disney characters signatures for more SWs ones.

Sunday was better...better weather, had grandparents to help manage lines and entertain the child. Even with the huge crowds we did really well. DS got to ride TSMM 5x. Everyone rode 1x and then I gave up my 2 FPs so he could go with each GP 2 more times. He also did Star Tours and watched the parade again. We met Jedi Council...Mace Windu 3x (solo, with Anakin and Kit, then with Shaak Ti), Chewy sans Ewok, Mickey and Minnie, Chipmunk Ewoks, Jawa - he traded beads, Queen Amidala (2x - he loved her...and wanted to go back before we left), Luke, Leia. I feel like I am missing someone but can't recall. My dad and I did ToT twice as well. So we had a pretty successful day I thought...especially as bad as the sun was.

Patrick (CM for Jedi Council) was awesome in helping people get to see who they wanted to see. DS's pic with the 3 council members is probably the best one we have. But DH will probably appreciate the one with just Mace Windu the most since that's his favorite character.

I made a spreadsheet of the times from Kenny the Pirate (using 5 min intervals) to show what characters would be there when and it worked very well in trying to get the rotations right. The roamers were so hard.

The best roamer story I have was while we were in Boba Fetts line the group 2 in front of us was waiting for him to return from a break and decided to take a group shot in the shackels. FP photog was taking the pics. Aurra Sing sidled up to the group from behind without them knowing until the first couple of snaps were taken...it was great and they were so excited.

It sounds like you had a great time drlaurafsu . Friday was terrible weather-wise, I'm glad the temps were lower for Sat. and Sun. It sounds like you got almost all the characters :goodvibes

Best wishes to your son on his SAT's on Saturday.

We'll be at the park Friday just not sure when, but Saturday not until evening. DS wants Sam Witmer's autograph so he has both Darth Mauls. But dh wants Tim Rose's.

We have PMC, Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Boba Fett, Luke, and Anakin left to do or find.

Our Vader shot never showed up on the photopass. Will be making a stop there over the weekend and see if we can get both shots. Can't wait to see the mystery magic shot!

Sounds like you had a great weekend! That's too funny about Aura Sing. I'm sure it made for some awesome pictures!

when I did it first Friday it was outside darth's mall in area off to side/front. It consisted of me standing on a circle in front of background holding hand in certain way and when I viewed pp pics the stoarmtroppers had joined me.

Tanks for all your great info!

I have to remember to head over to Darth's Mall to do the magic photo shot with the storm troopers

Does anyone think Gay Days is going to affect the crowds at HS on Friday? Would I be better served to go on Saturday or Sunday instead, or try to plan more park time to due worse than normal crowds? :confused3

I too would like to know...we're heading over for a half day before we leave that night and i'd like to make a plan!

Gay Days doesn't affect the crowd level at the park during SWW. I've been attending this event for about 10 years and I've never felt any difference in the crowds during gay days.
