Any idea if mr. darth Goofy is only meeting after parade? and is mr. Duck going to be a stoarm tropper again this year

Darth Goofy and Stormtrooper Donald meet before and after the parade. I'm pretty sure they both will be again this year

I'm boarding a Disney cruise on May the 4th but plan on going to DHS for a few hours in the morning. Do you think they'll allow adults in costumes at the park?

Ok He ( darth Goofy) musta been having bad day I tried to get him during my last sww trip and was told he wasn't meetg until after parade, so I never got him :( Have other 3

I am a newbie.. so please be patient. :)

We are going to Disney May 25th. I was thinking of going to HS for SWW on May 26th, our first day in the parks.

A couple of things. Husband and I love Star Wars. My boys are 7 and 4 and are currently right now playing with all their Star Wars action figures. So they are for sure into it.

We haven't been to HS before. We have skipped it on our last two trips b/c we didn't feel that they would sit for the shows and such. But, now we want to take them and try everything out.

So having never been to HS before, we want to do some shows, meet some characters, etc...

I'm worried though that SWW will be so crowded and overwhelming and we wont' enjoy any of it.

But, I know that we would love to see the characters from Star Wars and that would be a bonus. We aren't going to try and buy merchandise or meet any celebrity characters. We just want to meet the characters. I saw it's about 30 - 45 min. to meet them...

So would you suggest going b/c it's great, or pick another day that week to go??? It will be the day before Memorial day, and so maybe extra busy?? We could wait until the next Friday to go check it out...

If you have the option of going to DHS more than 1 day it would be better...yes it'll be crowded but if you go with a plan on what you want to do, try not do too much, you'll be fine.
If you are SW fans you'll enjoy SWW even with the amount of people, make sure to make good use of the fastpass system for Star Tours and the other attractions you want to do...2 days will be better than one.

Sorry I've been away for the past few days, I've been too busy. To recap:

Jeremy Bulloch and Dee Bradley Baker are confirmed for Weekend I
Next Saturday DHS is having a May the 4th party

Didn't have time to read through all 100+ pages. Realistically, what will the crowds be like on opening Friday of SWW? We will be there at rope drop and not really SW fans. We are visiting another day in addition to Friday 17th. Will the lines for RRNR and TOT build quickly?

The park in general will be pretty busy on any SWW day. Most effects will be felt at the SW events, but I would expect an increase in crowds and waits and non-SW related attractions also.

...there's a gate to the right of the RnRC fastpass machines that they open to let you go "backstage" the tent is right there
no secret tunnels :D

Oddly enough, I've never used FP for RnRC--only done it during hard ticket events up to now. (Kids will be tall enough this trip, tho--woohoo!). So where are the machines actually located?

PLMK if someone does happen to find a tunnel!! ;)

Right next to the ride entrance. Darth's Mall is basically beyond RnRC in an area not normally accessible by guests.

we are going to come down May 4th and May 25 and 26 and May 31.

Starting to really look forward to it!

Hey Guys,

Happy to hear that you will be attending this year!! Sorry to hear we will be going different weeks and not get to see you again. Will you still be doing Aulani? I think I remember you saying you may skip SWW this year for Aulani.

Hope all is well with you and your family!

Rick

sorry we will miss you! The kids are still in school the first weekend and we are leaving from MCO to HNL on June 1. So I figured I could come downt he weekend before and get in some star wars weekends before we left to Hawaii! Stand in the lines for a while to get me really ready for Aulani!

The reason is we had thought about flying through california and going to disneyland for a few days, but we have florida passes and thought we'd just go through florida instead. Plus my daughter started daisy scouts are they are going to be doing some girl scout stuff at wdw at the same time. So it is going to be a multi-event trip!
