I asked a question a few pages ago and I think it got missed (sorry if someone already responded and I missed it).

I thought last year I remember reading that on the Sunday of weekend 4 that some of the merchandise was discounted. If so, what kinds of items and about how much is the discount? Or did I imagine that?

Also, yulilin, was JAT's show identical to last year or did he mix it up some?

Thanks again to everyone who has contributed their experiences to this thread!

Yes, last year on the last Sunday, merchandise was discounted. It wasn't a huge discount. I can't remember the percentage though, sorry. :( Oh, the Darth Donald Duck throw was showing up a few weeks ago at the Disney Outlets. Not sure if there are any left, been a while since I've been to the outlets.

It was almost the same just a new little part, but almost identical to last year's show...Yes the las weekend they put all the stuff that says SWW 2013 (shirts, shot glasses, mugs, magnets, etc) on sale...I think it was like 20%, not sure on that one, maybe 30%?

Cool -- we'll wait until Sunday to buy any "2013" items.

Thanks for the info re: JAT's show. I still want to see it again, but if something goes wonky with our schedule, at least I'll know that it's not anything really different.

If anyone here, or their kids of course, are collecting autographs(characters not celebs) at SWW this year could you please shoot me a PM. I'm looking to make a gallery of all the SW 's signatures for future use, not just for myself, but for anyone who'd like them for scrapbooking, etc. purposes. I already have Luke and Leia's but I need everyone else's. A simple smart phone picture is fine :D Thank you guys!.

I think I read that 2 years ago Sunday it went like 40 or 50% but last year Sat and Sunday (maybe Friday too I cant remember what I read) it was 30% both day...same sat and sunday...)

Last year was definitely 30% off the logo merchandise (the official shirt, the glassware etc. Basically if it said 2012 on it, it was discounted. At that point you could also buy the blanket that had been the buy with X in purchases on its own but I don't think it was discounted).

Is there a buy with X purchase this year?...and I assume this is different then whats at the other parks?

Can't answer for this year (except to say I HOPE SO!) But last year it was a red blanket with Donald Duck Maul and the SWW logo. I think it was $20 (or $25) when you spent $60.

I bet guests are driving Ashley crazy with questions about whether she is in it - if we take the timeline that Ahsoka walking out on her own happened just before episode III starts - and order 66 - then Ahsoka could be a big part of Rebels, or even Ahsoka and her new buddy Asajj.

I'm really really really hoping Ahsoka is somehow apart of this new series.

Sent you a PM :)

I'm sure I'll be spending more then $40 so I can just break it up lol

Thanks

You dont have to break it up, you can buy the towels in the same transaction.

We are going to be at the World during the last SWW and have a DS 6 who is mildly interested in SW. My question is: If we only wanted the Disney characters who are dressed up in their SW garb, what kind of time can we expect this to take?

We are planning on being at HS when they open on Friday and getting the autographs and then heading over to Epcot for the day.

We will visit HS another day to do our normal touring.

Hmmm, well you are getting there in the morning which is a plus. Certain sets during the morning are actually Mickey/Minnie/Goofy/Donald at the same time, unfortunately even Kenny the Pirate was not able to figure out exactly what times it would be :/ so you will have to assume in order to get all 4 of those done you will have to do the line twice, once for Mickey/Minnie and once for Goofy/Donald. The time on that line varies from 35 mins to an hour but it could possibly be less bad first thing in the morning. They start at 8:00 so if you got in line before that you could really minimize that wait. You'd of course have to get back in line to get the other half, which will come out at 8:30. That timing should work perfectly.

After that you head over to....

Chip and Dale. They meet as ewoks over by Sci Fi. That line I have heard is about 30-45 mins. I'd imagine in the morning it'd be less bad but... I can't promise you. They start at 9:05 so you line up there hopefully before 9:05. Assuming you aren't too far back inthe line, I say you could be done with these characters by 9:30. I have to express it's super important you get in line for Mickey very early to ensure you can get the 8:00 set and the 8:30 set done.

Hope this helps! I don't have a picture with Chip and Dale as I'm not going to SWW this year ( :( ) but here is the gang :) R2 MK will not be there, he starts at 12 if you are interested in that.

They had those buy one get one free at the outlets a few weeks ago. I think they were $15. Must have had a lot left over. I was kind of mad I didnt buy any, might go check if they are still there this weekend.
